Deepavali is near and for sure the boys in blue are going to have a busy night on that day itself to collect some cash for Raya. Sometimes near festive seasons police don't use roadblocks to get extra cash. They also sell fireworks as well.

sell fireworks?? abit the dodgy to buy from them right.. silap2 they gari and

Wasting of time or not is NOT a valid reason at all. As long as you bribe, you're already spoiling them. As I've said, if you've broken the law, then you've broken the law. Just take the summon and go. I need not explain all this. You say you understand but to me, in situations like that, you're just a typical malaysian. Complain like hell but yet, contributing to the rubbish of the country. I admit I'm not an angel and I admit that I'm a crap on the road half the time too but heck, I'll never ever bribe the cops because I want them to know that even if the summon is just RM1, they are NOT going to get a single cent from me. Yet, if you can't comprehend my reply to you, then you can just ignore it. Thanks.

This is what we should do. Take a pen and paper and write down his ID. It will serve very well when you send the details to The Star.

Yeah they do sell fireworks as well. Probably these are the fireworks they confiscated. My boss know the officers who were selling them. At least manage to get the type of fireworks they use at KLCC during celebrations. The cops even told me that during the first two days of Raya there won't be speed traps and roadblocks since they also want to have a holiday as well. After Raya they will start back their roadblocks to replenish the money they spent during Raya.

On the Johor F&F Issue.

All they had to do was to get 2 patrol cars MAX.
Put 4 police guys inside and ask them to drive up and down the road for like 45 mins.

I dont think there will be any issue already and all the spectators and racers would have a rather early and quiet night.

The main issue is that we want to stop street racing.
NOT arrest kids and young adults who will then forever see the 'law' as something to contend with.

So why then go about in this manner? Seriously the reason for organizing the 'raid' is indeed weak. "Residents complaining nemerous times". I agree that something should be done.
But the whole of Malaysia complain about snatch thefts, and what do the police say they can do?

Seriously, at a level of policy and planning, there is something going very badly with the vision of the country and its future.

BTW, I know the police in a patrol car driving up and down the road with the blue lights and siren wailing WORKS. Cause I have had numerous occasions watching this first hand.

Sorry, but what is 2 police patrol cars going to do?They cant even pursuit..by the time those modified cars reach 200 KMH,the police WAJA will still be struggling to reach 100 KMH. And you know how crappy the malaysian police driving skills are right ?Everytime i am on the road, whenever a silly police waja tries to wave me down i will just throttle away from him. He cant do anything without proof of my crime.

I do agree with you though, the police is plain dumb for wasting man power and time catching people for their tinting, exhaust and racing when they can be stopping the more serious crimes such as snatch thieves, rape and even mat rempits.

Regards.
