The Malaysian automotive aftermarket has seen a significant shift in scale this year. As of January 2026, BateriHub has officially surpassed the 200-branch milestone, establishing itself as the country’s largest direct-owned car battery retail network.

A Standardized Approach to Growth
Unlike franchise models, BateriHub operates on a 100% direct-owned basis. According to Co-Founder and Managing Director Mr. Kok Wai Kit, this model is central to their strategy of maintaining service quality during high-demand periods.

Future Outlook: East Malaysia and Beyond
While the 200-store mark is a domestic milestone, the company’s roadmap suggests further expansion. BateriHub has announced plans to enter the East Malaysia market by Q3 2026.
On a regional level, the company has been conducting market studies in Singapore since 2023. These moves are part of a broader five-year strategic plan to introduce their centralized operating model to the wider ASEAN region.
