DIY sprayside skirt

bought Wi.Se side skirt from HMS...black color...then I thought why not DIY spray since khguan had done it on his grill and I thought what the heck...boring2 doing nothing...atleast now have something to do...here's some pics. step by step

before sand paper...i clean it 1st with water...than sand paper...clean again...wait untill completly dry...than spray color with 15-20 mins interval only 3 layers of Medium Silver and after 20mins from last layer...I spray clear coat 2 layers 15 mins interval... I used DPI auto Color Medium Silver (AP 16941) bought at Eneous rm15.90 and clear coat at hardware store rm5.90...both side skirts and rear skirts...only used 1 can of DPI Autocolor. (depending on how u spray larr)

DPI Autocolor 1 can : RM15.90
Clear coat 1 can : RM5.90
100 PLUS 6 can : RM7.20
Job well done : Priceless

haha... u DIY sprayed de skirts already...

anyway.. u should spray it b4 u mount it...since it is ori skirts... like dat makes the process much easier... cos no need to cover ur car with newspaper mah if u spray b4 install...

i bought rm16 from acc shop....suppose to b sun shade 1lahh.....got jointslor, but no too obvious...i use 3 pieces to complete.....suposingly 2 enof, but i spoiled the 1st 1....

worksmanship not great but im happylah....diymah :P

so maybe i should DIY the paint...


But i cant get any spray paint from DPI in JB.

thx.....tiring but sav me alot of money :P

1st time i didnt use soap....fail cos canot geti it lay properly cos it is quite sticky...

hair drier will do :) very easily get soft 1 tis sticker

u install ur skirt urself ?

installing de skirt is easy since it is original skirts from HICOM... using original screw mountings n double sided tape...

right over bro??
