The puspakom still worry me la... so just to prepare if i need to change it to make it higher.. i think TITAN cost aroun RM3K... expensive lo for an abs... but Acoustic is using it.. I take time to read his review on TITAN... :D

[/b][/quote] that friend of mine say he buy at Sekama cost RM100++ per filter, he can't remember well also, but he say he need to change his soon so i will ask him again. i think the RM70 one is for smaller filter used in kancil, i dont' remember the size. RM2800 cost me a bomb for this project... need a cheap one first.. my neighbour using Nissan Bluebird with GTIR Pulsar engine use HWL custome made.. he recommend me one...but bot sure expensive...

i heard Acoustic is selling a set of TRD racing suspension for AE86 for RM500, should fit the KE70. dunno sold aready or not.

but racing suspension usually is too hard for daily driving. Just telling you in case you don't mind sakit belakang after a short trip :lol: , kena pothole sure sakit punggung...

6K for AE86 Half cut, it's about 90% more expensive than penisular price.

As today... the new engine was running well... idling is very quite.. I use my existing 2" piping and ayam brand muffler... Still have a few wiring to do and touch up... buy a new MF battery as the old battery flat already...

I listen to the engine sound carefully.. when rev .. the engine seem to behave like "vtec" ... cannot compare the sound from my previous engine.. rpm easily can reach 8K... my mech said that characteristic is due to TVIS system....

Ori trueno streering wheel was install... but it seem to low for me... so i decided to use boss kit and sport steering wheel... the problem is due to my driver seat is higher a bit.. need to modify the seat so that I can seat lower....


Can;t wait to drive my old school car... :D

[/b][/quote] :mellow: i need: -engine -ecu -T50 gbox -LSD rear axle -front and rear suspension -working disc brake -power steering -working airconditioning (include everything, my cooling coil is leaking already) -probably the radiator -dashboard those are non-body parts right? included all in the 2K+ one?

As per to day.. my car car was send to aircond specialist .. everything now have done up.. notice that the steereng wheel (troeno) is not suitable.. exchange it to sport steereng wheel( don't know waht brand but it japanese) with 86 japan boss kit... my modded civic type r seat need adjustment to low it down a bit ....

Have a test drive with my mech.. he is driving and show me the lsd advantage.. tyre spining .. dunno how he manage to do that.. but the engine seem to nehave like racing sound after 6000rpm...

Get the lsd service .. change ger oil as it create sound when taking connering... after treatment... still have the sound but reduce abit from before.. as what my mech describe... so as for now my car will go to do minor body work.. then will exchange the lsd to newer one if available.... ;)

Sill have not yet go to Puspakom for inspection... heard so many bad thing now :huh: :huh: ....from one of the runner... :blink:

the engine is running on what camshaft duration? i'm starting to drool liau whenever you do an update on the progress. i need few more month before can even start the project ar..

btw i heard the LSD usually make noice one, dunno true or not. if got money can get new LSD for AE86 from TRD. but the price can make ppl faint one, can buy new engine already.

As for today.. my car still in workshop for minor body work and waiting for another rear lsd axel as the one fitted is no good... as explained by my mechanics ... I will write the full story about engine transplant in my group site.. http://www.l2tt.net Still waiting patiently to test drive the car with new engine...
