Getz or Accent RX-5S???

Getz, everytime. Just get the Getz 1.3 or 1.6 depending on budget. For a girl to drive, power isn't a problem. 1.3 Wiras have been running around for ages with not much complaints. Accent only if you must have a saloon/sedan.

Yeah, luckily there is so much grunt from that fearsome 1.5 litre engine that it can actually use all that downforce.

actually my gf is buying the car. just want ur comments in terms of comfort, power and handling. the most important factor here is the budget. is the 1.3 Getz a little underpowered? i know the RX-S is really ah beng. even my gf dont like the stupid air scoop and the rear top spoiler. too much la!!! but all that can be removed later. the concern now is the comfort, power and handling.

she does not really like myvi. might also go for vios but that will be streching her her budget.

i would suggest Getz for a girl.... Auto car would be nice.... as mention by one of our zth member... Getz get a better power with it's light weight....

whether is the accent looks ah beng mostly depend on individual. if u plan to buy accent but do not want the scoop... i suggest u tell the salesman up front so that they won't install it coz if u remove it later, it will leave 4 holes on the bonnet(screw to the scoop)

if u also would not wan the wing, i think u better take the normal accent and get the custom made bodykit outside. but i can tell u, it will coz alot coz it's custom

LOL, just make sure Accent's bodykit stayed on the car before the car achieve such downforce. But with 1.5 litre engine, I doubt it can even sustain 150km/hr

Anyway, I don't think bodykit of the Accent contribute much to downforce. Like the name implies, its just a bodykit. It's not aerokit.. I guess bodykit is more to visual appeal...

I personnally drove my accent to penang up to 160km/h... i can go futher but i juz not dare too.....

frankly speaking.. accent could be really stable even at that speed. i could hardly feel that i am actually driving at 160km/h. previously i drove iswara. 130 km/h my iswara already shouting for help already.. but accent, he ask for more....

i do believe the bodykit do play even a slight role. i trully understand that it is more of the visual appeal but yet the aerodynamic do change when we install the kit(dunno if i am using the right word)

that spoiler is a universal design, Supra stock spoiler have a very similar design.

hahaha...agree with the Accent. Swift to me its overpriced. not worth a buy for that price for such a small car. furthermore got problems...as experienced by my bro who's the service advisor at the Suzuki service center.

nope. got discount now. they are clearing up the 2005 stocks. if im not mistaken its RM75k++ OTR.
