Ae101 Tuning question

hurm, if u really wanna try push the car to the limit, might as well just go for 3sge or 3sgte .
20v bt i dont think u can get much power, someone did built it to 181hp on wheel right?

181whp is more than good enough .
but that's gonna cost more than 50k i guess

More than 181 whp is possible i guess. Because highest for NA I'e heard is 220 hp. For turbo can 300 hp.

but tuning NA to that mark is very expensive. I would agree 50k might not be enough. And also there is the problem of drivability. going beyond 282 cams, you're gonna have super bad idling, shit emission and shit low end torque.

If you don't mind spending 50 k for a car that idles at 1.5 - 1.8k rpm, sucky performance till 5k rpm and difficult to drive daily, then okay...

3s-gte is a 2.0 turbo engine .
highest spec u can get is from the caldina gt4 i think .
its 240bhp on stock .

definitely can push even further .

even the 4age turbocharged can go beyond 300whp . and that's only 1.6 .

on the internet even saw a 4a-fe which is originally 103bhp could reach 300whp when turbocharged .

the real question here is whether or not you have the money to spend .
if you're aiming for superior performance, i think it'll even go above 100k .

NA 1.6 is very hard to reach 200HP on wheel...also, u need to think about car weight, corolla SEG consider light weight body....

my opinion is..u want otr car + track performance..actually track car are not suppose focussing on engine power..it's about driver skill n car handling(depend on cat)...correct me if i wrong..

if u seriously wan to build na engine..think about your pocket..with the same investment..turbo generate more hp..but if u "stim with high revv engine"..play na..
