waja original ice system

need some help for all waja owner here....coz i jst et my waja last week...facing a funny problem....normally FM for standard HU come with 6 channel rite....but da HU only got 1 to 5 button...n where is the No. 6 channel?

may be there is capacitor or inductor thing along the line to the tweeters?

the OEM waja HU got 6 line output? if so, the crossover might really built in HU.

I think there are no crossovers and rely on the speaker characteristics to roll off after a certain freq.

The HU has 4 outputs for speaker level and 2 RCA outs.

any changes that you guys want to sell of the headunit together with the disc changer kindly let me know can :P hehe i'm interested of getting it :)

then means that the HU is actually a good HU lo compare with pioneer player?? like the DEH-4750 and 5750?? cos the 4750 only got 2 preout and the 5750 got 4.... :D

haha so wat u guys say??

i confirm the above, opened the HU yesterday and found the same thing....

there does not seem to be an external x.over whatsoever.....

but there is a tweet, mid and rear speaker output.....

o means that the HU it self mayb is including the xover lo? that makes that sound system so good rite?? hehe

nope.. no crossovers... didnt see one at all.

The Hu has 4 speaker outputs.. 1+2 are to the front tweeters and mids while the other 2 are for the rear.

The Hu is no where close to be comapred to the Pioneer 4 series... mebbe 1 series at most.

skyancient,

what i did was replace the front tweet and mids with MBQ Discus DSC Comps... that fits prefectly well...

the MBQ tweets i placed outside the dash for furthe clarity, where as the mids was put at the door panel's original placing...

the rear was then replaced with a Pioneer 3-way.....

Doing all this without using any amp .... treble set at 3, bass at 2, fader 1, balance of course 0 ...

everything sounds nicer than before of course.... just a simple setup without any drilling, knocking, installing wires.. bla bla bla ....

cheerio .. btw, the comps were installed with the original MBQ x.over to protect the comps.... but of course if the HU can churn out more power or if there is an amp all the better.... hahaa.. but when will we ever be satisfied? cheerio!

10s for the information netken.... haha but i not driving a waja now :P i driving an old car.. a honda civic EX(SH4) i just planing 2 change the speaker on the front panel and of cos add the tweeter also....

after i sat in my dad's car (waja) i feel that the sound system is damn good... even for classical, thecno or jazz all doesnt disapointed me at all haha... lucky is install in a waja but not "G-2" haha... :D
