How much r they selling other place? my hometown here all almost same price.

i guess the price doesnt differ too much. Still thinking about the 7750 selling here but i'm scared about the warranty.

"I will warranty you, no problem" This is what he will say, when got problem he will repair for you, but the spare parts is you have to pay...

5750 / 7750 or Alpine 9853 ?

In terms of performance which is the best? Pioneer or Alpine?

Interm the quality,performance & safety I will go to Alpine HU.. if the price tag not your consent.. I think 7998R much suiteable for you rather than 9853..price also not much diff...Year product 7998R(2003) japan spec, 9853(2005) china spec... feature..7998R better than 9853... some Mid class high end HU is 7998R, HX-D1, HX-D2, Naka CD700/700II, P9, Eclipse 8051/8061.. I tot someone selling new 7998R just around RM2150 (1yr warranty WKH) in sale forum...Hopefully u can audit the HU from others user but carefully to chose with car to audit..coz some maybe using additional stuff.. try find HU + Comp (without amp) to audit or go to reputed shop to audit it...like KF Audio, SoundQuest, Tenichi, ACP, KK Lau..normally this shop have demo set-up for us to audit...U must understand that we/forumer can not give U 100% what U actually need coz we are Human...only hair just same ..black colour ...haaa haaa haa

What you want is the most important thing. For general performance and price, Pioneer still better compare to Alpine. Alpine maybe good in CD, but the radio's performance is abit poor. Just imagine you pay 1k++ for a HU, but radio reception is poor. But pioneer don't have this problem.. For the price of 6++ Pioneer already have mp3 function, but what Alpine have? Nothing but plain CD function...

Well, in certain place with some hill there will be ssss. sound. Alpine's radio only can perform when no hill.... Like our handphone.

Yup, as I said ealier just audit & U can know more about it (pro & con). Radio reception is not a big problem loorrr every HU also same maaa...coz I'm also Pioneer (DEH-5650MP-RM0.75K), Sony (CDX7800V-RM1.35K), Eclipse (8061-RM2K) & Alpine (CDA7998R-RM2.5K) user. Just waiting right time to change 1 of HU to HX-D2...

So far I have use Kenwood and Pioneer, don't have this type of problem, but Alpine I follow my friend's car, as long as got some high hills, that's it..

Actually it's depend on area...some area dont have radio signal...Not rich laa bro....Only have 2 car....somemore malaysian made 1...Pioneer & Sony it is my old set-up but has been transfer to my bro/sis car lorr...coz I not willing to sell it to others ppl laaa..so I decide & install it into my bro/sis car loorrr...somemore they goverment body can not invest to much in ICE...Best part I can use his car at anytime loorrr just ring ring to them.....haa haa

The point I want to say here is put so much of money for a HU that only can play CD, but radio reception not that good.. Unless we don't use radio, then can go for Alpine. If not better go for Pioneer or Kenwood for overall performance.

ok... i put my order on 5750, preamp, helix front comp., stinger 1200W 4ch AMP and 2 EVO 12" SUB

plus 4 getz cable, converter, installation.
