how?
issit my subs or my amp?

i cqan be ur amp...it can be ur sub also...try getting a sub n c the sound still there o not....if yes...then most prolly ur amp

it means that your cone is slapping the voice coil. try to lower down your volume or set gain setting lower. it might be your suspension has changed i.e your sorround has deteroriated,

Maybe because your mid is 'grounded' to your door. Check whether the wiring is 'accidently' grounded to the chassis of your car or not. I believe this is the problem based on your description.

wat appleyard said might be it also...does it happen onli when u play it loud o happens even playing wit low volume also?

low volumm also plak...high volumm also plak

tibun..ground at the doors?mind to explaned more?

If you ground to the doors you will get the amp to go into protection mode...

Alan,

Either your gains are too high or you blew the cone which causes it to be unable to dampen the movement and thus hit it at all volumes...

Check your subwoofer tinsel leads, they might be crossed against each other. It's a common problem found in the lesser speakers, you could counter it by wrapping the leads with wire tape.
