hey there guys, as we are aware the have been many tread been open in regards of this topic, but rest assure all of them has its own agenda,

anyway the reason i am opening this tread is strictly for the purpose to share knowledge of how to mod a good mivec

as we know there are mivec on the road running on 200hp nowdays

so my question is...which is the best set up 1.6 or 1.8
what would be the best modification need to apply on a mivec to get a reliability engine for daily usage and also sometimes u know when ur cruising u get burn down buy some1 else...so there u goes unleashing your car power ...

currently i am running a 1.6stock mivec... your point of view and list of mod is very much appericiated :driver:

hi bro , for my opinion in n/a category , cc is the key to make max. power. for sure why na engine need to rebored for larger piston size if upgrade. for turbo engine u just up the boost for increase hp.

same comes to 1.6 vtec engine , why have many performance stroker kit. every engine cc ur increase hp also increase.

Bump:
can...got money...anything can be done
he3 , that no 1 bro.........:burnout:

kroolada - so bro..if i use 1.8 block example a gsr block....(might BOT in future) hehe do we have a stroker kit for 1.8 block also...example can we fit in 4g94 crank in 4g93 block and can we still hit 9k rpm as NA is only powerfull at top end

i have seen 4g94 crank in 93 block. many modification need to done ex. deck plate , sleeved. for me it not worth for the money bro.

if u engine already fully modified and nothing else to do them want to make 94 go on.
if not is better to stay 93 block and stock 89mm stroke.

for rpm no prob. we can calculate the rod ratio and can adjust like conrod , piston pin.

mivec 1.6 rev 10k rpm still less power than mivec 1.8 rev 8-9k rpm

The Detroit Auto Show is just around the corner and one of the most anticipated unveilings will be of Hyundai’s new sports coupe, the Veloster. The Korean carmaker has just released a teaser video and a microsite confirming the Veloster name.

The video doesn’t divulge too much on the actual look of the car but it does let slip that the Veloster will come with a direct-injected engine, dual-clutch gearbox and Bluetooth connectivity. Aesthetics wise. We can only oogle at the blue LED lights...
