Haha! Yes, is a precaution where some believe that the one with the name call
out loud, would eventually hear supernatural beings calling their name where only
they can hear and might lead them away from the group. Which is how some got
lost and never found in the forest.

So, true or not, I'll not be interested to find out or even try putting my friends in that
position. Prevention better than cure. Certain things I chose to believe rather than risking it.

Yup, believe or not, prevention is better......

You guys are so hungry for ghost story eh?Lets roll. Fresh from my house last night.
It was about 11pm. My door bell rang. My wife open the door but no one out there. A moment later it rang again, my wife quickly open the door thinking there were some naughty kids butfound no one. That moment we knew something wrong.
So she went to bathroom wanting to shower, but she ran out and told me someone was in the mirror! I asked who was that, "It's a lady!" she answered. I looked at the bathroom mirror but nothing unusual I saw. She said it was gone.

I want to ask you guys, does ghosts like green bean? My 9 year old son like doing experiments. Whenever possible he will aqua-plant some sprouts. First time he put the green beans in small container and put in the fridge in the morning, when he opened the fridge in the evening it was gone.
Second time his grandma teached him to plant using soil when we visited them at hometown. He put it in my car boot abd brought back to KL Upon reaching home I opened the boot and found it was missing.
The third time his grandpa gave one pot of sprouts to him. Now he was smarter. He held it and finally safely reached home that night. He placed on the ledge. When he woke up the next morning to check out whether the beans sprout but it was no more there, again.
What possibly took those sprouts?

Damn! Your house are haunted or the ghost are following your son bro. Like the series where I watch Lost Tape. A son was haunted by the ghost and the ghost follow the son everywhere.

Maybe best bring him to see the monk.

If me, can see a lady in the mirror, I think I won't stay there anymore. I mean is a sign when
they want u to see them. Yet is not 1st time u encounter such things man.

I remember YYC telling that someone had cursed his family or something via a bomoh. Probably the only reason why they experience so much.

YYC : Haven't you tried to counteract the curse all these years?

Many years ago I read the horror classic book "The Haunting of Hill House" by Shirley Jackson. I didn't like the story mainly because I thought it was an unrealistic portrayal of people. The people in the house would be frightened because they saw or felt the house spirits and yet when morning comes, the people would dress up and go to work as if the previous night's experience was a problem of noisy house rats in the roof and not haunting.

So, when I read the stories in this thread, I wonder how you guys can be so calm if you all are so convinced you have experienced the supernatural. If my house was truly haunted, I would install CCTV all over my house (even in the toilets) and try to capture the haunting instead of talking about it on some forum. Likewise if my green beans always "disappear".

More critical thinking will set us free. Really.

K, sounds a bit like a movie now. What did YYC do to get such cursed? But then if it is really
a curse, best to get rid of it and at least you and your family life wont be affected.

Be it harmless or not still not a good thing to carry throughout our life.

There's a reason why horror books are classified under "fiction".

And these are stories being shared by forummers.
