Aiseh, now I'm called a thief. No lar.
Jinkl is right. Why bother rushing for such minimal savings? Average Joe, driving an average car, maybe he'll save about RM 30.00? Just for that single pump which will have to wait until at the very least, 4 - 5 months more, before repeating it again ( if the price goes up again )?
Now tell me, even Average Joe nowadays go have a cuppa at Starbucks etc. Over RM 8.00 for a ice cold blended coffee? And you rush, que, just for RM 30.00 savings one time? Hehehe...do the maths. Nowadays, if you're living alone, single and can do a good daily budget, RM 30.00 is just enough for brekkie, lunch, dinner and RM 10.00 of prepaid credit.
Unless, right before the price increase, you go around with a tonne truck, buying RON 97 everywhere, or Shell V Power ( if you're running a car requiring such high RON. Knocking anyone? ) worth at least RM 500.00. Fuh, that way sure save plenty one. But where the heck are you going to store the fuel? And you're not going to get nabbed while doing your rounds purchasing fuel? Hehehe...
Don't like high fuel consumption? Just buy a fuel efficient car, and control your right foot. I can drive my 2nd car, a 1997 Honda City 1.5, RM 60.00 worth of RON 97 ( that's 31.25 litres ) between 400 - 450 kph, 60% city drive, 40% highway drive. Cars like ( based from my own experience ) like the Jazz, City can do full tank, up to 700 kms. Don't you save money? Small car, easy to park. Small CC, lower tax, and of your insurance records is good and your NCB is at least 5 years; worth, fuh, that's a lot of discount on your yearly car insurance.
