Trying to tell something which was not said before he died??

Talking about the datuk I was with my dad clearing this piece of land. Well, not we but ask someone with a bulldozer to do it. It's a huge machine with chain wheels. While clearing half way the chain came off. Waited about an hour some mech came and put it back. Cleared for another hour or so came off again. Put it back and on the third time came off the indian who operates the bulldozer said probably needs to buy offering for the datuk that reside there. There is a small shrine right in the middle of the land and after giving some money for the dude to buy some offerings for the datuk and he prayed a bit after that all ok. We did not participate as we are Catholic and we don't pray to other Gods or deity.

But the fact that you gave money meant that you believed that "other" gods exist and were of influence.

We gave the money to him so he can get on with his work. Yes, other god exist that's why God say we shall not bow to any other god. Then again I'm not here to discuss religion nor I want you to be a Christian if you are not. I give donations to temple does not mean I believe in Buddha. I feed a stray dog does not mean the dog is mine. I screw a whore does not mean she is my wife.

Back to ghost stories.... This is real. Story from my friend who lost his son thru' drowning.
This son was working in construction but the project was in a Golf course. One day after work, while waiting for internal transport to pick him up, he ask co-worker, why not take the sampan ride in one of the ponds. Make story short, the sampan overturned, and the co-worker who cannot swim some how struggled and got out. Friend's son who is a swimmer some how drowned, but cannot find his body. Even when police and others came they cannot find the body, so another friend consult a medium and he ask my friend (the father) to bring something which belongs to the son. He brought his pillow and the medium threw it into the pond, a few minutes later the body floated up.....

Very seldom they will move it away from the site. Just to a corner. Even you see shopping center somewhere at the corner will be a datuk. Some are hidden out of view.

Yeah usually mediums will be called if the drown victim's body did not appear..Believe it or not, after some prayings, the body will just appear..

That depends on the owner of the land. Owner may not have the Datuk, so when construction starts the construction people build one, so at the end of the project they will give offering and ask the datuk to vacate then they remove the house.....

Which golf course is this. Alot of golf courses have stories as they require a lot of land and some of them have history. The one at Kota Damansara also have stories.

wow just read all the pages.

i have many experience with this kind of things but could not write up all hee because of time factors.

one of my story when i was young few years back. I use to sleep with my sister in the same room but different bed. I was sleeping with a katil on the floor while she was in the bed higher than me. One time, i was awake in the middle of the night but i cant move at all. (Use to happen this many times before but i tot i was too tired) but that night was different. i could not move at all but i was fully awake and i saw a shadow sitting infront of me showing me the sign to keep quite with the finger on the mouth. I was freak out and try to close my eyes and get back to sleep. Didnt bother much tho since i was so blur at that time. THen another night, i was too scared to sleep on my own katil so i decided to sleep next to my sis on her bed, but guess what? It happened again, i was awake and i saw a guy standing infront of me showing me the same sign again! I WAS LIKE WTF? then i try my best to close my eyes and try my best to move my body to face the wall instead of the shadow.

After that 2 nights, i told my parents about it. And they say maybe you are just too tired or dream and they advised me not to think too much about it anymore. Until today i still remember the about the incident. I used to hear from my parents that normally when you encounter with this kind of stuff normally you are in the situation of "BLUR" or "SLEEPY".

Anyone hikes or climbs mountains? I have a few stories to share but thinking whether to share or not since I still hike and don't want to scare myself shitless. LOL
