Why is Toyota Forum so slow nowadays...

yalorr .. everyone put their tots in well .. as for me .. i just wanna tok kok only laa .. and the occassional tips that i might get from zth is a bonus laa .. huahahahahaaa ... like yolk said .. most of us already know each other in real life .. makes xchange of info and experience easier too .. hehehehehe

Edgar, I do agree that there's a lot of bull talk mingled with those of serious technical discussion - but then that's the beauty of Zth forums, everyone get to express their toughts without prejudice and can throw jokes as when there are opportunity.

For example, the most common jokes that we like to use:

Newbie Asks: What's the best NA motor?
Regular Answers: HONDA VTEC B16A Type R!
* Now there's strong evidence that Honda B16A-R is the best NA ever produced - aknowledged by many professionals - this is a fact and it is being presented in jokes.

Newbie Asks: Car not so fast anymore?
Regular Answers: Driver problem!
* Well yet another fact (part of it) presented in jokes

You see, when we post things like those it is because it was meant to make us all laugh.

Do you seriously want out Toyota Zth Forum to turn into all Serious-Techie-No-Nonsense discussions? If Zth Toyota becomes so then I will the first one signing off because I can get better Tech advise from www.club4ag.com and http://www.toymods.com.

And what yolk, QIW & TRD16v mentioned is quite true, after a while we tend to slow down on sharing those precious modding info simply because we are a bit lazy nowadays. But in real life if you meet any of them or call them hey! they will be very happy to assist. Heck I weven put up my HP no in my sig and gets a lot of call and SMS inquiring on Toyota stuffs....still so until today hahahahha

Yes, exactly like I have just said, this section has become more of a 'lifestyle' or 'community talk' than a technical discussion, that is why it is slowing down, because like you have just said, you will sign off and log on to a more 'technical' forum for answers.

What I had said previously is just reflecting my experiences being the member of zth from the beginning till today, and I am sharing it under this topic because the starter for this topic is enquiring about why is this secion of the forum slowing down nowadays.

If you guys talks in a more 'community' way, that is actually limiting the participants in this section, people like me, have never meet most of this ZTH Toyota Community, I have only met Acoustic, Tom's, Artnet, TauhuTauhu and a few more, I have always wanted to meet the rest of this comunity like BlackHowling, EFN, QIW, YOLK and many more here that I have heard many stories on you guys and your excellent effort that you have put into your car (yes it is true!) from the other members who have known you all.

I treat you guys with my greatest and highest respect and that is why I have to say this, to make you guys aware that some people really see you guys as not just any ordinary crappy-rubbish forumer, but a group of people with great knowledge in the developments of a better Toyota, and I wish, I believe most of us wish that you guys dont just end yet, but will continue to help people who wants to know and learn more.
