Bro, read my earlier post which was directed at SupraFan - before you have kids make sure you have all your fun and do whatever you want to do. Once you do that, you would have matured and gotten wiser. Then you'll want something more already and that would be the next level of life - a family.

So right now it sounds like you're not ready. So just pergi main je, once satisfied you'll be ready.

Yesterday was sleepless night. My girl gets up quite a lot of time and she gets hungry very fast. She poo twice already in 1 night. She's now already 14 days old. Just want ask you guys how much milk you gave to you babies at this age?

feeding amount is subjective...3-4 ounces per session should satisfy a sub 6 month old baby...but this is very subjective...they should be able to give you signal that they are full...my 2 year old daughter can only gulp down 5 ounces while her little brother ( 6 month old ) can gulp up to 8 ounces per feeding session...but of coz my girl already eat solid adult food...so milk is just secondary...usually what i do is...have 2 small bottle ( 4 ounces per bottle) on standby rather than straight away "bancuh" 8 ounces...feed 4 ounces first...if not enough than continue with the second bottle...

if your daughter drinks 100% breast milk then feed her anytime she wants, but if bottle depending on how often she cries.
but make sure once bancuh the milk must finish it, dun keep for 1-2 hrs then give the same milk again.

Danz advice is sound. BF means don't worry about it. If bottle feed you just need to experiment plus minus an ounce.

Whatever you want to main laaaaaa.. need me to teach you meh?

can also..but teach me good good thing lahh..don want the bad bad thing :thefinger:

Lost touch long time but I remember we see how the baby feeds. If baby finish and still want to suck the bottle we increase slightly on next feed, so needs monitoring. My boy feeds faster and more then my girl.
Also make sure once almost finish the bottle, don't let her suck some more, as she may take in a lot of air.....

But then bad things easier to teach and faster to learn then good things......hahahahaha:rofl:

thanks guys...will go home and try. Also I'm now my wife is mixing breast feed with formula. I search around the web about poo and found that if too much formula the baby difficult to digest it will poo more often. This morning I told my wife to reduce the formula from 2 spoon to 1 and a half.

also take note that some babies are lactose intolerant so you may have to opt for soy based formula...consult your doctor on your baby next checkup...

faced this issue before with...certain formula will make her diarrhea and vomit...imagine have to change diaper every hour or so...while other make her "sembelit" and i have to use glycerine as a lubrication each time my baby wanna poo...only after numerous trial and error (not to mention money wasted buying formula which are damn expensive) i was able to find the suitable one...

remember that your baby supposed to poo everyday, like my daughter did not poo for 3 days & her stomach was bloated,
had to bring to hospital, the doc stuck the medicine (forgot wats it called) up her bottom & her poo came out, her stomach went back to normal, the color of the poo also plays an important role. the doc told me that when she grows up she will eventually grow out of it, i have tried more than 10 types or milk powder & finally settled for fernleaf till today.

Another thing is the milk (baby formula), no need buy the more expensive ones. My first kid I had a friend who could buy staff price for me, but when got 2nd kid, he already left, but doctor advice no need buy expensive one, because the cheaper just as good.....

i used to buy my kid's formula from pharmacy....those special ones for constipation...very expensive, after 1 month cannot tahan
switch to another brand but luckily ended up till now using those normal brand ones. yes its true vr2 said

Both my baby and my 3yrs old is on Enfapro A+...back to thier father days.. was Nestum and Nespray (because can get a cool Ninja turtle watch!!)

Mine was Dumex (if i recall the name correctly) back in those days or at least FernLeaf

huhuhu...back in those days there not much to choose from...only 4 - 5 brands available...now if see at supermarket there endless row of baby formula to choose from...the tricky part is finding the right one for our babies...i learn that the hard way...coz my daughter tummy quite sensitive...change a few brands to find out which are suitable for her...hopefully you dont have to face this issue...its frustrating to buy a formula...but the baby cant take it...then throw away just like that...

back then mothers prefer to breastfeed...now most mothers (my wife included) have careers and the only time they can full time breastfeed is during the maternity leave...as soon as go back to office...no time already...
