As I have mentioned before, I will post a pic of that City here. Just took the picture today..
It was a bit of a delay of roughly 2 months. Sorry about that.

Offset wheels are cool but I wonder if there are any disadvantages of doing so. Now that we've come to offset topic, might as well suggest an offset setup for Almera.![]()

Just like vr2 said, stretch tyres are not really good. Usually RWD cars are using negative offset rims. I still learning on tis as we'll hehehe
Expand those wheel arches...![]()
Besides using wider rims, any other ways to make the tyres come out further?

Offset setup is illegal as well?

Your friend's car?
Now I see that offset setup is getting quite popular. A lot of Myvi are doing it.
Offset and adding spacers. Wider rims helps slightly only.
Spacers also need good type, best will be adapter type with machined center cone. If add on thick spacers will need to change the lug nuts to longer ones.
Better is to use smaller number offset rims...

RWD cars structure are set further in, therefore requires negative offset rims to bring the wheels out. FWD are already set further out therefore uses positive offset.
FWD most at offset 38 already have their rims almost at par with the wheel fenders. Cannot use negative offset. Even smaller number offset will bring the rims out of the wheel arch area.

As far as I remember any structure further out from original car shape is dimmed to be illegal...![]()

Most myvi ya using negative offset and mostly stretched tyres. Those are not really good
in terms of grip. Worse one is when you have too much money to spend on tyres can set negative camber with 17-18" rims...![]()
Which is why widebody cars are stopped by jpj? Because tyres are usually further out than the original car shape. So those people with stretch tyres surely gonna get stopped, their tyres usually out of their car shape...
Nowadays a lot of Avanzas are doing that as well...damn ugly...

I think you still getting it wrong. They use smaller number offset means still positive.
If 0 offset compare to normal 40 offset already 18" difference, therefore if negative offset the rims will come out almost by 19"....
RENESIS:
No idea but it has zth stickers though.
Oh...K k my badmeans could be just below 38 offset but within positive.
Anymore diversion of topic and I'm moving this to "General talk"
Anyway, this morning I came across this Impul Almera. It's pretty obvious the suspension is tuned or stiffened cuz he bounced over bumps as much as I did. But the imbecile was braking into every corner and was barely travelling past 80km/h. That really wasn't the issue, the issue was he was on the fast lane and refused to give way to a Navara tionging him.

Maybe the owner thought his Impul Almera is some fast performance car that's why he refuse to surrender the bulky Navara.
Or, maybe, he's in a rush.
You call that in a rush? I could've outrun him in the 1st corner. Bloody imbecile was being an ass
I just saw the Ad....Nismo made some light bolt on performance parts for Almera. A muffler, suspension kit, rims, and a full Nismo bodykit....
