it's a long term benefit u wont see in 5 years. even 10 years. maybe only the 2nd owner or 3rd owner will benefit from it.

I wonder how I wonder why...

In that's mean the car will become more durable?

The break-in there talking about are just like giving the car a full push in the early round to ensure the smoothness. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Does its really works in local car mer? i really wonder lo.. on the test run within proton there must have push the engine to a certain performance to pass the standard. Am i right? Correct me if i'm wrong.. and

Zan you are working or studying lo?

i visited Proton factory in 1991..at that time Proton had just produced its 300,000th Saga. yeah, it seemed that those cars were tested up to the limit to ensure no serious problems upon delivery.

other than the normal electrical, water leak and suspension tests, most important things upon final inspection included brake tests and engine acceleration. not testing at how fast the car can go, just to confirm the engine capable or reaching redline easily.

i am not sure whether these tests are conducted randomly or on each car that rolled off assembly line. i visited AMI factory also (BMW/Ford/Mazda/Landrover) and DRB factory in 1994 (satria, citroen, mitsubishi pajero and trooper) but still cant confirm on this.

btw feric, i used to be a student...back in 1994...he he now working already.:D
