SR-71 Blackbird speed exceeded Mach 3.2+ or 3,920km/h. It crosses a typical football field in just less than 0.1sec. That's insanely good fc. This makes 1.5L Myvi looked like a fuel guzzling monster.

Reread the whole thing again. It's about a car's fuel efficiency is proportional to the amount of power produced. The more power a car has, the more efficient it is

Perhaps you should ask him, how does a powerful engine (incorrectly equated to engine with bigger cc) make power in the first place?

Ponder this, using the Myvi 1.3 vs Myvi 1.5 as example... empty both tanks, and refill with fixed amount of fuel e.g. rm20 worth of Petronas RON95 for example

Start both car, and let it run stationary for fixed amount of time, lets say 24hours perhaps?. Don't turn on aircon, headlight, or anything...heck don't ever revv it.... let it runs on its own

end of the session, drain and measure remaining fuel in each tank.... i think the answer is obvious

Lol. Larger cc doesn't guarantee more power as many has misunderstood this. For example, a Honda B16B Type R or B18C Type R engine can generate more power than Camry 2.5 or Accord 2.4.

I can show a good example that I found in wikipedia long ago. Some of my friends had a good laugh when I told them about this.

Check out the cc and power output. 6000cc straight 6 engine but output is 30bhp only. The EF-VE engine from Viva 660 generates more power than this engine.

If you're doing that example, probably that guy will say of course the 1.3 has more fuel left because the car is left stationary and the car is not being use. He doesn't want a comparison like that. I've told him official mileage figures and yet he doubts it and say they are computer measured. What he wants to see is the fuel consumption on normal daily driving.

For sure he'll say something like
'Ai ya, both cars not moving of course 1.3 more fuel saving la because cc smaller ma'
'But if both cars are being use, of course 1.5 more fuel saving because it can go further distance on shorter time because it has more power than the 1.3. The 1.3 lack of power and needs a longer time to reach the destination so it use more fuel for sure la'

Trust me, that is the sort of reply this guy will give if I told him about your idea of measuring which fuel consumption. I don't mean that your way is wrong, but it is just that person does not want to measure fuel consumption through this way.
