when they say "sq" they refer to good sound quality, when u play sq u no need your neighbourhood to know u are back like some Ah Beng style boom boom boom slightly to irritate your sleep yet didn't break all your house windows,thats why not qualify to be call playing spl. Spl= sound presssure level,spl usually they are playing to get the highest number in pressure level until windescreen crack!

planing to play SQ...of coz...
but would like to have some super duper low base by using a HUGE woofer at the back.

If u wan the result of hotbit and powerzone…u can pm lonewolf taikot…for chap ayam…I can let u know the result..for chap ayam..compare to stock extractor…30% increase of pickup and power…

ohhh... last time i saw a competition video is SPL lor... got plexiglass on the car instead of normal glass one.... that one is not loud wor... vibration only...haahhah
bak sure need SPL already... when reviewing his hamtai in his private trailer, the sound must blow up the whole trailer... and anything within 10 mile radius...hahahahah

to go low not necessary must be very big woofer,a decent 12 inch subwoofer is good enough with big enclosure/woofer box that match the subwoofer spec and u also need the amp that can match the power requirement of the subwoofer as well as using those twisted monster cable to connect your amp and sub which i think a lil bit expensive from those normal chap ayam cable.
but 18 inch.................too bigla taiko no point at all,its like u can go from A to B by car drive alone and u can also choose a lorry to reach destination B but do u need to go such extreme or not is all up to your own preference!Its like Mustang Escalade people really impress by its shire size alone and forgotten about others things and better choice like Range Rover or Land Rover

Better response loh….that for my butt lar…by I don’t know about other taikor here….so I feel worth the money I pay for the extractor..before I dyno I got around 50.8 so when change extractor I got another 1 hp increase…so ok for me lar..BV5015 said:

how is the enclosure build depends on how much air the woofer can move right... nice low end bass is not only archieved by buying as big a woofer as possible... it has to depends on the sensitivy of the woofer and then match ur amp to it... some like lower sensitivity as it requires a much more powerful amp to move the speakers / woofer... some like higher sensitivity.. then there is also the factor of crossovers... generally woofers need a very steep "crossover slop" crossover... somewhere around 24db curve would be good... and the range of frequencies your woofer handle has to be very limited so you dun get the very boomy type of sound...
sorry i come from playing stereo systems at home... but i think the knowledge can somewhat be aplied on ICE also...
