.: Exhaust Modification Corner :.

please forgive me of asking 2pid question
wat is egg shell muffler??
how big is it??

just want to know, during mod exhaust for iswara 1.3, some of them will use 1.7inch piping, so if for iswara 1.5, how many inch should be used?

may i know how much lengh we should put the mid bullet between the nenas n the mid bullet?

just wanna to know to get info loo....

hi eveyone,my ride is std perdana v6.remain auto at the moment.when g/box kong, will consider to make it into manual or other performance engine.anyway, tis happen dun know when.
my question is,wat is the recommendation for my exhaust setup.the f/c seems very bad for my car.

Both models piping size should be around 1.7"-1.8" which is the best already and enough. Bullet/Midbox should be put as center as it can. However, it is not much felt.

What is ur FC now? If around 20 sen, it should be okay. Auto a bit makan minyak ler if im not wrong. Anyway, check if ur midbox fiber is finished, change a new one for better FC.

normally mid box can stand for how long of period?and how much to change it?

Hi all (My 1st post here) :hello:

I had done some changes to my ride exhaust recently
Apart from my ride breathe more freely now
I noticed i had lost low end torque as compared to previous when on stock
As for mid ~ high what are the noticeable different i can expect
I cant felt much changes
Can anyone here share its experience with me?
Thanks :_:

Bro, is the HKS HiPower a straight flow ?? If it is, u r preparing ur whole exhaust setup for a low end torque. However, you're using auto tranny which means the peak of torque comes later in your ride's rpm band. So, this is why you don't feel any strong pick up and yet, mid and high remains the same performance like stock.

Bro,
The HKS exos is semi flow.
Now my ride felt more torquey from low ~ high
Guess the ECU had started to learn
I planned to add a T.M. Works VSD II (Input potential to ignition coil from 12V in 16V BOOST UP)
Do you guys think it will help improve torque and hp?

Share photos.

Hi guys, I visited weng's shop & did my exhaust system. Must say that the srevice was quite good. Here are some photos. Not clear cos my hands always unsteady. You'll see my exhaust flap.:_: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8648/2612061814it4.jpg

Wow what on earth is that ? Looks like there's some sorta pipe opening right after the flexipipe ... Very blur here....

That's the malaysian version of EVC. Exhaust Control Valve!:) Made from VR4 trottle body.

Too bad..i can't see a thing here ..maybe because the earthquake did something to the connection of the pic.
The EVC is a very brilliant idea for exhaust enthusiast as we can manually change to a powerful exhaust system and then, back to the normal setup which is a quiet one. Hmm..btw, thanks for coming bro..

now running on 4-2-1 extractor...those swirl2 type center bullet and a straight flow muffler...engine is 4g13p carbie...feel like changing to another set up.a friend said carbies do better on a 4-1 extractor...is that true?
thinking of changing to GTi muffler=S-flow since straight is to smooth..no back pressure=loss of power...need advice
thanks

Is it manual?

i see, but why did u say "no back pressure=loss of power"..i don't really agree with it..can u tell ur story pls , thanks...

maybe he mean is at low rpm kua..

straight flow will rob some power at low rpm.. but boost at hi rpm.
