Hello bro...just bought honda ef vtec B16A..what should i do if i wanna modified it to stage 1??
Can anybody tell me what to do first? And how much is cost?? Tks!!

extractor, exhaust, chip ur ecu, bigger TB, VAFC
 
My car comes with VAFC & Adjustable cam pulley...that's all. The rest still standard..
Looking for tein absorb...coz my car using zeal absorb (keras & melantun).
Extractor how much?? Piping exhaust paling cun berape inch nak buat??

Budget not much..around 1k,
Existing parts i hv only VAFC & Adjustable cam pulley..
So what's ur opinion bro? Ur r one of the experience about this specs....

First thing to do and the most important,upgrade the brake system before anything else.

Meor - I'd brought my new dizzy frm distributorking during my recent vacation in US.Cheers!

u can go to any kedai ptg for the extractor...normally price from 600 to 1000...depands on condition..

mind to ask...
any future upgrades? stick wit 1.6 or maybe a Frankenstein swap?

dude! did u meet chase mcmaster in alabama? haha. havent heard from you for a while. sorry couldnt attend your wedding early this month due to some work commitments. anyways, congratulations!

i think best thing to do before going down on mechanical mods on the EF is to convert the OBD0 ecu to OBD1 using the jumper, change the distributor to big v, n use P30 ecu.. lesser headache to source for big v distributor and chip....
 
That's true...change to an obd1 dizzy will be better or if not,go distributorless.My initial plan was to get the aem pencil coil and dizzy but end up...i did not wanted to mess further with my piggyback...i stick back to my obd0 and brought myself a brand new obd0 performance dizzy frm distributorking and it's made in Montreal,Canada.Btw,my mugen mounting kit has arrived and hopefully i could get all my parts fixed up before CNY...incld my traction bar :P

AEM pencil coil and dizzy will cost around USD600.
Anyway,i will try my best to snap some pics before i install my new dizzy.
