Do it yourself... takes less than half a day to open up the diff and clean up the spider gears. I have a live axle though, no fancy IRS to deal with.


Fixed a jammed window caused by a dead motor before, takes like half an hour to swap the motor over.


Um... a 5+1 litre bottle of Mobil 1 0W-30 shouldn't cost more than RM200, plus RM50 for an oil filter? I do mine once every 5000kms, and the oil isn't even fully black. If you can't even change your own oil then you shouldn't be driving anything with a turbo, much less a GT-R.

NGK Iridium sparks should cost no more than RM400 for a set of 6, and these last for more than a year. Takes fuk all time to change, remove coil packs, unscrew sparks with a ratchet, swap with new sparks and all done.

Also I read that bleeding out the oil etc from a AWD system, must be done by a SPECIALIST

but if i am not mistaken the oficial GTR Fuel Consumption is 20 mile to a gallon... I never get this..

be prepared for deep pocket drilling..this is no Sentra or Civic mileage. It'll drink like how u enjoy Coke!! The more you thirst for speed, the more it will slurrrrp!

BTW anyone tried the new Shell petrol (ferrari fuel)? Expensive but sure makes the car go. Best for highway blast but not good for jams....

About RM120 for full tank, 65liter capacity, and about 200-250km per tank average, but dont use V-power if u have a aftermarket fuel pump.

russ, ur driving a 550bhp hks monters. of course it drinks like a godzilla..
i mean of course skylines drink alot. its a skyline! high performance, grand torismos what do u aspek. i use my car everyday and so what its worth the penny. u dont go ask hummer owners,how much there fuel consumption do u. if those who want performance a fuel economy, go get a b16a or l200 la.

GTT gets around 350-450kms depending on your driving style + mods. 65 litres too.

Driftmeister, with ur driving style, i think u can only get 250km as well!! Hehe..

But seriously, with boost controller off, and driving like an old man, the most I got was 275km on a full tank. Maybe its bacause of the ECU & injectors upgrade.. but 300km I would say for stock R34 GTR is more realistic. But then, need to ask a stock R34 GTR owner.. im also curious to know.. :P
freestyler, when u drive ur GTR, you cant help but 'tekan' sometimes, if wanna drive R34 skyline & save fuel, better go for GTT automatic.

Russ: I guess it must be the state of tune ur running. Heard someone i know driving a totally modded GTR (600+hp) getting very good mileage. Can reach Penang on a full tank...hehe..

I'm getting 320-350kms for town driving...depending on the jams.
