1JZ-GTE: VVT-i vs standard

The 1JZ-GTE engine has been modified by the addition of an Intelligent Variable Valve Timing System (continuous wide range intake camshaft phasing control system) and a new high-efficiency turbocharger. The engine generates 50% more engine torque at low engine speeds, and turbo lag has been reduced by 50%, while allowing a 10% improvement of fuel economy.

summary:
1.) Low to medium speed torque has been improved while ensuring high power output.
2.) Turbo response has been improved.
3.) Fuel economy has been improved.

Maximum Torque (Nm @ RPM):
VVT-i = 378@2400
standard = 363@4800

I have a fren pass from JPJ by using RB20 into his old 728 BMW...

but the runner said must only can drop in same model engine, BMW-BMW , nissan-nissan ..

Even down grade also around 25% only just like upgrading...
JPJ would not gave you down grade too much for sure coz roadtax will be much much different...no earning for them...

Actually my fren wanna to put in RX-7 engine but since the cc is just 1.3 so, JPJ reject it...

Got $$$ what also boleh what... even use Kancil with VR4 engine also no problem... saw once at Pasir Gudang drag racing...hahahaha..
engine is at the back...Kancil MRVR4 made in Malaysia...hahaha

call this no 012 278 7115...he got 1j twin turbo n 1j single turbo with VVTI h/cut...n he driving a 1j twin turbo now in a MKII n getting a 1j twin turbo soon in a BMW E32 soon..maybe he can help about it...im not too sure..try call n see..

1.3 change to 2.0 EIII with 2.3 stroker kit... JPJ..close one eye..hahaha...

izzit truth??? thn i must go complain oredi.. cos last time i use satria 1.6 to 2.0 VR4 but cannot pass, thn i must change 4G67 block to pass by 1.8.. cost me a lot sia...
