1JZ-GTE Question

Hi ... I have some question regarding the mighty 1JZ-GTE to ask about ...

Does the 1JZ-GTE the Twin-Turbo or the Single Turbo VVTi came with 5-speed auto tranny ?

And how much the Auto Tranny can take "WHP" before it throwing itself apart ?

1jz-gte 2.5liter , vvti come in a single turbo , older version without vvti comes in twin turbo.

the auto tranny is a 4at . for manual is 5 speed . as for the horse power , according to the foreman

that the auto tranny can take around 400 hp for safe side

1JZ Question

Hi...I Plan to buy a Modified 4x4 car (Toyota LC ii, 2 doors), but the engine use 1jz, is it suitable or good for off road??? I heard that petrol engine is not good for off road, the car easy to 'dead' when crossing the river.. thank you....
