my satria 1.6 can go till 200km..can tapau gti ....change ur tb n plug with cable..using split fire...

my car is WiSE 1.5 GLi. I bought it about 2.5 years ago. Mine one got 4 disc brake. My top speed is around 160km/h with standard stock. The foreman told me that is because of the centre box at the enxhaust that caused the reducing of speed but i didnt mod it.

wat i did is i changed the air filter to K&N drop in with Volker Iridium spark plug and grounding kit. It helps the car to rev faster at higher rpm but I only managed to go 170km/h.

After that i changed my clucth kit to 1.6 clucth kit with semi racing clutch and lighten flywheel. now my car can even rev faster than b4. tat day i try to test my top speed. it reach 170km/h easily but i didnt go further because of the traffic condition.

I also changed my 16" JRD rim to 16" ICE rim and the stock suspension to Titan Adjustable Suspension for better handling of the car at higher speed.

I think i will changed the bullet for more top speed. Wat do u think for my car guys?
 
try n sprint/drag with the same car... maybe speedo reading in accurate..

me got the same problem, even oredi hit the floor only get 160km/j, like hell lah. even change to 15" cannnot get more than that. my previous iswara 1.3 oso can make 170 with rim besi! but my friends son used to hit "habis meter" , dunno how he did that!

i think yr car shd do 180 & above....my wira 1.5 normal edition dec 2004 model can do 190kh/h max...but its takes a bit of time to hit tht speed....i only have removed my cat conv & changed my centre box with a bigger unit (not those bullets) & also replaced my muffler .....only that & im running on 15" jrd
 
mine satria se year 2004 top speed unly 175(pedal to the floor)rpm around 5300-5500...dunno accurate or not the speedometer with 17 inches rim...
 
my SE goes 190 lo...simple mods to airflow in and exhaust flow out like straight ram pipe and open pod filter with CAI, denso iridiums,motul turbolight oil,2 inch straight flow exhaust with single bullet n tanabe r.medallion 2.5inch muffler

no major mods to engine,17inch rims..

Just wanna share about the influence of using good engine oil in achieving better or higher top-speed.

I've been using Motul Turbolight for my both car (Vtec & 4WDT) for 6 years and i've introduced the same oil to my adik Waja 1.6AT. Surprisingly his waja topspeed can reach 200kmh mark. I've been reckon that this the good engine oil for our Japanese motors.

Maybe u all can try the oil and re-run the topspeed again. I'm confidently say that your topspeed at least 5-10% increase.
 
thats very true...previously i was maintaining endless oils cuz i tried Q8 n the cams sound very rough...endless's cold start has been smoother...also tried M7,very rev happy and i dragged my service to an extra 6000kms...meaning only at 11000 kms i serviced.(mind you,i like to see my needle at redline)..still sounding good cuz M7 is Greddy formulation..also contributing to my healthy engine is my volt stabilizer and 8-point grounding,removed my spare tyre and no useless wiring...my volt meter always reads 14.2 which is extra healthy to the alternator...no stress n a happy healthy engine...waiting to change exhaust header n lighten the flywheel with a dynojet piggyback...

For waja actually topspeed can go 215km/h cuz wenshen, a standard gen2 1.6owner tried to chase acura's 180sx standard on the way to sepang in last year's drift event.
 
hi guys, just to share... im driving Satria SE Auto... previously when still stock, it can runs easily 170-180(as im owez outstation), but running like this for 2 months, it drops to 140km/h. i started to change air filter to open pod, spark parks and bigger cable as well, grounding wires, volt stabilizer, micro compressor air charger, 15" inch rims, mid bullet, CAI, promote 1 bumper (better wind circulation for heat in engine) as well my double pipe exhaust. now, it easily goes from 0-130 but slow from 130-150, after 150, the power back again till 190km/h max. but till now i'm still wondering y it gets slow when im at 130-150km/h...
