New Gen2 Model that should be launch this 22nd. The car park near my office. So i got a shoot of it. But how to put the pic here ah?

Just continue snapping photos and make a police report if the driver harassed you.

i too thought the same...hehehe...don't u find it weird.a lot of zthian drive
proton but at the same time sent hate msg all over zth.i don't mean to blame
anyone or support proton in this case.they r also to blame as their quality
is poor.just my opinion.pls don't shoot.

a lot of zthian drving proton mybe coz we dont have any other choice...the other brands like honda,toyota,mazda are expensive...so people buy those proton cars and hope that they can have a quality car but instead they got crappy quality and low performance compare to the price they pay...

Indeed. I thought the answer would have been obvious but some people still think that just because we drive Protons we are somehow precluded from criticizing the Company.

Another question people ought to ask is "How many Proton users are happy with their original cars as it is ?" I'd say a good number of us actually put in mods and junk the orig parts. I'm certainly doing it.

Let's just be blunt here. Some of us think we are getting a sh*tty deal and to be honest I sometimes cannot blame the whiners for throwing a hissy fit over Proton. Case in point...I call Proton because I wanted to buy a set of their 14" Iswara rims (made for them by JRD) to replace the stock 13" rims. They tell me RM1,300. I said "Are you sure? These are just JRD rims ?" And the guy on the other end of the line told me "Yes, sorry. Not negotiable. It's in our official price list." I told them to forget it and bought a set of nice aftermarket 14" rims from BSA (via their agent here) with the correct offset at just RM 700+.

A friend drives a Putra but had his rims stolen. Cost of replacement rims from Proton.....RM 4,000.

Guys who earn moderate wages and can't afford anything more expensive than a Proton because of the way foreign makes are overtaxed to protect the local car industries. And that's why Proton drivers complain about Proton because its a car they have to buy 'by default'. Like I said, its a sh*tty deal.

Having said that, I don't think Protons are too bad once you have modded them...but then.....by that time they are no longer 'Protons' :proud:

No doubt this is a zth-nick-ealt-who-likes-to-frame-people country but the driver can't bash you just like that. Why worry. Take a pic of his face too next time. hahaha Then we'll bash him instead. haha
