cannot agree more with u guys. looks like they've done it again. their products lately - its like they were done in such a hurry, rushing for the dateline and does not potray their years of experience in the industry. surely, in my opinion, it is not a majority decision when it comes to the final design. i'm sure it was decided by the selected few, who have the power but lacking in knowledge of auto industry and market demand.
they should know that malaysians today are more demanding and their standard of expectations is higher. people have more choice nowadays and provided by competitors that had been in the market for a longer time compared to them, it is obvious to whom the attention is favouring. again, a lame excuse will be given and some drastic and improper actions will be taken to boost the sales. this will of course will result in again, spending unnecessary funds for promotions, road shows, free gifts and worst additional accessories such as unsuitable bodykits or an outdated set of bigger wheels. salesmen commission would probably not increase or worst reduced to support this ad-hoc measure which of course is proposed by the same group of people, but this time with a flaming backside...
they look but they never observe, so they wont see.
they hear but they never listen, so they'll never understand.
media, of course will be asked to play they crucial part and not to publish anything negative with regards to their new so - called "pride and joy". and most of the mainstream media will have to obey, or else some heads will be chopped off..
look at the sales chart. which proton model is the best selling? i bet its the one with 20 years aged engine that looks like a tank (some call it kereta kebal...including their salesmen...)and still using carburetor instead of EFi. and there's only one reason for this - it is cheap..
what happened to the new models - savvy, gen2, which are suppose to play the major role and main contributor to their profit?
they will definitely have to rely on the older models yet again. and again, if this is the case, we can clearly see where one of the biggest national company, which receives endless support from the govrnment, is heading.
definitely not forward. i rest my case.
