600hp mark is a possible goal but not that straight forward though. A lot has to be done to the internals before strapping on a gigantic turbo. Not to mention it will impact the drivability if you use your car as daily. Stroker kits and aggressive cams just some of the basics. It will be quite a journey, share your progress here.

Yup, VRC club have one member did that to his VR4. Giant turbo, gigantic inlet manifold, extra injectors, and NOS to achieve 600 on racing fuel. He mentioned use as daily is not good, and cannot use full power potential in touge. 600 only for straight line drag......lol:biggrin:

600hp on 90's and early 2000 cars are possible but it'll cost a bomb and not drivable. However I do agree that newer post 2010 cars, the design is entirely different. Turbo + efficiency. A 2L can churn out amazing 350-400hp and still livable as daily driver. Moving up the scale to high performance engines, 4-6L Vees with twin turbos easily outputs above 550hp and that's in stock. How the world has changed.

My family doctor whose also my friend just bought the new XC90. The car churns out 407hp with 640Nm of torque. Hit 100 in 5.6 secs and weighs 2.3 metric ton. Best of all, the FC is 47km/L!!! Excerpt of spec sheet from Volvo. Can put a lot of 90's high performance cars to a shame with these numbers.

Bro. Edward, the T8 is twin engine hybrid, super and turbo charged with electric motor, sure more powerful with good fc. Looking at T5 specs they develop around 250hp only.....:driver:

Yup... I know the twin engine setup. What I am trying to tell here is that new era engines has best of both worlds. Power and FC. It's pretty amazing... only if I have 400K to spare, hahaha...

Here we have an enthusiast who wants to mod to 600hp...
and elsewhere in ZTH we have a former STD patient who wants to de-mod from 600hp to 450hp...

Such is life, a funny thing.

not really...

atleast the best we can get is twinscroll+ballbearing turbo....

that alone helps alone in driveability

Like from my NA transplanted to turbo I had to beef up the suspension. Will a 200bhp going to 600bhp need more serious beefing up?:driver:

If your chassis was originally made for a 150hp'ish engine, beefing up the suspension and brakes may be sufficient for below 250hp. However if you're gonna cross over to 300hp mark, chassis rigidity must be considered. Some strip the car totally naked and re-weld all the factory spot and added roll cage bal bla bla. Then you need also think about changing all the bushes and upgrading the lower arm etc. You have to do that before thinking about going to 600hp. At least this is what I would do if I want to push it to 600hp mark.

Looks like Lamborghini is now joining the big cars league like the Porsche Cayenne and Audi’s Q-series as they had came out with a new Lamborghini SUV, dubbed as the “Urus”. Scheduled to be officially unveiled at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show, the Lamborghini SUV’s photos went viral over the net after it was leaked, and it seems that the looks is not so far from its earlier renderings...
