What s different monoblock and amp

hai , i want to make a sound system in my integra. my friend offer me to his second hand)prokick monoblock cost 1k. my i know what is the different with amp and monoblock . is it big different . and i also wana find a woofer budget 1.5k . any good best woofer can recommend .

a monoblock is a loose term people use to describe a single channel amplifier.

Single channel is mono so a single channel amplifier is a mono amplifier. Somehow it often described as monoblock.

a prokick mono amplifier is a budget amplifier. Those who used it said it gives good amount of power but IMHO, not up to the claimed rated power.


woofer for RM1.5K ? I think you do not have to spend this much on subwoofer since it is better to spread the budget more on the amplifier. You should not end up like some users who bought expensive branded subwoofers but use over-rated amplifier to drive it i.e. those chap palang amps.

good high power sub and not so high power amp will lead to non satisfaction lol

if the amp dont match the speeker power the sound quality wont be that nice
so recomended to get a good amp and sub, try kickers good brand

rm1.5k u can get almost high end subs already
but ur car is hatchback rite?
i affraid the bigger subs u install,then the vibration will unstopable.
my ride just 1pc 12" with v12classD M501.

2nd hand prokick monoblock at rm 1xxx? well you can get a brand new SoundStream Monoblock 350w from MAT at RM 890 only. why settle for less?

plan for future upgrades: get a 4-channel amp ready first.
