currently using kenwood head unit

amp is monoblock alpine pdx1.1000

my woofer is one soundstream xpro12 dvc
and one audioquart 10" square

i bridge my soundstream to 2ohm and my audioquart to 4 ohm

now the problem is i dont feel any power from the soundstream

mostly the sound is from audio quart -

is the setup wrong?

i think if i buy another soundstream the sound also not strong

my setup wrong issit??or what factor

tq

yes wrong, just use the one woofer, 12 inch dvc should be enuff. or else amp can rosak soon...

shouldnt mix different size subs, and more importantly dont mix diff impedance subs..

if u get another ss make sure u wire them series/parallel (2ohm/2ohm into 4ohm) or parallel/series (8ohm/8ohm into 4ohm). lucky this amp gives 1000W at 4ohm so each sub gets 500W. since rms is only 300W then its more than enuff.

BTW you dont bridge subs.
Agree with Zenn... while it is not unusual to have different sub (or even different shape) in a car (unless its in a same enclosure) mixing different coil config is a huge risk.

I would suggest you to port the soundstream sub and take out the other. Or you can invest in some good subs which can take out 1000w and maximise the amp potential.
