What HU for RM800 to 900?

if you use a plastic bracket, it help to use a piece of soft rubber attached to the door panels. this is to avoid rattling which you will lose some mid bass. You can custom DIY it from a 3/4 plywood which i did. just make sure that your speaker's magnet does not touched the body of the car or any metal surface (if you dont want a fried speakers ,HU and amp with it). The big thing is not installing the speakers but the door cover. Those speakers would not fit to your door cover so you have to cut it to fit. (make sure you cut it a perfect round unlike me who have an egg shape hole on my door).

As for soundproof, if you find your door rattles and producing noise or the sound from outside is louder then the inside of the car then you should start sound proofing.

yup. as appleyard mention, go to installer, ask thm to do a MDF speaker ring and thn mount the speaker ring onto your panel thn only mount the speaker on to the speaker ring. this way will help the speaker rigidity

Thanks for the reply, guys.

I got the Pioneer 5750 just before CNY.... just loving it.... :P

Anyway, my finance officer (my mother) just called me to ask me go book a Waja and sell off this Wira.... aiyoo.... just installed the HU into my Wira !!!!

So how?... the Waja got custom made factory-look double din slot instead of that silly integrated cassette player? I also wanna put my SAFC II under the HU.

Have to do all the work again, the sound-proofing and stuff....
One more question, my 6.5 inch Helix comps can fit in the front door panels? :(

Thanks guys.
NOT A BAD CHOICE BRO... THUMBS UP !!!
