what do scorpions eat??

just wanna ask wat do scorpions normally eat?? little bugs? crickets?

i found a small scorpion among a bunch of duku langsat last night..lucky din get stung by it..just suddenly saw something walking around..took a close look and....WTF??!!! a little scorpion!!! hehe..so i took a small plastc aquarium and put it in..i have no idea of wat species it belongs to..and since it was living among the bunches of langsat, i was wondering if it eats fruits..the fella is only about 3cm long..

anyone know wat i shud feed it??

I have seen those exotic pet shops feed crickets to the scorpions. Perhaps you could try that?
Also, you could also try bringing it to a pet shop that sells exotic pets and ask them for advice. If you're around PJ area, you could try the pet shop at Taman Megah, just beside Ming Tien food court.

Most stay and wait till the food comes within range while others actively pursue their food. The Heterometrus sp I've kept exhibit both. So what food do they take.
Large size scorpions can be fed adult crickets and mealworms though the latter is not very popular with my pets. Grasshoppers or just about anything smaller than your scorpion can also make suitable food. The more exotic food includes spiders, large beetles, tree lizards, mice and snakes but these are dangerous preys as they may well turn the table. For slower species like Pandinus imperator, it may be recommended to remove the legs or put in fridge to decrease mobilty of crickets. Note that crickets and mealworms can attack newly moulted scorpion so uneaten food is best removed. Also mealworms can severely destroy your logs and are difficult to find once they burrow deep enough. Scorpions sometimes accept dead food and may be persuaded to take them if you force in between their pincers.
Smaller scorpions can take smaller size crickets while baby scorpions take pinheads. In short, crickets are time proven food and matching the size to your scorpion, it almost guarantees success. Besides, scorpions fed on just crickets shows no signs of becoming picky or illness"

Crikets might work but try to go back to the place where you found it and catch whatever bugs is around. Moss and algae are also included in a scropions diet, pick those up too. Remember , try not to expose your new pet to direct sunlight, they'll get stressed out
