hi guys, hope everyone had a very merry xmas and is getting ready fo an awsome new years! some of you may know i finally converted to a TD05 from a evo 7 GTA, and a big front mount intercooler and im loving it but am just wanting somone to have a look over my maps and let me know what i need to tidy up.

i have a rather large flat spot in my virtual dyno graphs, not sure why, could be because i never touched the new load cells im hitting with the bigger turbo  fuelling seems good, tapers off to about 11:1 at redline running 18psi.

please note this is on STOCK airtrek injectors, the IDC% is up around the 87% mark at this boost level and any further boost will have to wait untill i replace these.

ive attached a pic of a couple virtal dyno runs. if anyone can help please pm me with your e-mail address and ill fire off a copy of the rom and some logs to you.

cheers.

Only 150kw..? thats 200whp only... abit low for 18psi. U did not log boost..? The start dip in 4.2k rpm may indicate a leak or boost cut.

Thats virtual dyno, not sure how accurate it is. I dont have a map sensor to log boost, but it held all the way to the redline. All the limiters are gone so wont b that. Could b a leak i would have to do another leak test.

send to me. i will look at it for you when i got the time.
3 logs with the same rom.
Also do it with 3rd gear instead of 2nd gear

Did you find out what was causing the flat spot in the virtual dyno graphs? Did you have a boost leak?

I'm having a similar issue and an even bigger power dip between 3200 and 4000rpm. I'm still on the standard turbo & top mount IC, catless standard exhaust, pod filter, MBC with peak boost around 17psi and using a 2nd hand Evo IX BOV / divertor valve.

I've done a boost leak test and it looks like the EVO divertor valve is leaking but I'm not 100% sure thats the cause of the power loss or not.

I've attached my VD graphs to compare and hoping someone may be able to help too :) (Sorry for the thread hijack!)

447Nm torque?? wow... my VD is always messy, probably because there are skip rpms in my logs

Yeah please ignore the log with the 447nm torque, I don't know what happened there! 360-380 is what I usually see as a peak.

I'm running taller tyres than factory so I'm hitting nearly 115kmph at the end of 2nd gear so 3rd gear runs are not advisable for logging WOT runs on the road in NZ, have to save that for the dyno :)

So no ideas around the dip in power / torque?

I've got another BOV / bypass valve coming and I'm ordering a MAP sensor from Zeitonix so I can log boost too so I'll see if that helps find the issue.

Get all the hardware check 1st, if there a leak tuning is no go. In 2nd gear, try other smoothing factor.

Yea i do have a zt2 wideband. When i changed my pump i ran so rich my wb02 couldent read it. Scale back your fueling over the whole range. Cant remember how much by tho

Just because its more than just a wideband. The sensors you can plug in without the need for extra controlers is what sold me on them. Other than that ive never heard a bad thing said about them.
