i am driving a 1996 ej6 VTEC with an d16y8 engine..i had some serious gearbox prolems and got it changed last wednesday..thursday friday driving was ok but today something strange really happened.. the gear does not want to shift to 2nd 3rd or 4th..the rpm however screams up to 5k but there is no movement...
how am i to know that this gearbox matches my engine...any codes on the gearbox?..i know there is a difference between vtec and non vtec gearbox but how am i to tell them apart?.please advise me as i am gonna take back the car to my mech this monday..
