Serious vibration - what does it mean?

hello to all frenz..
i had problem like that...my problem is when i`m revving around 3.8k rpm above my dashbord n clutch padel got vibration..this happen when cruising n every gear changed on that rpm..:bawling::bawling:

can any 1 help me to rectify the problem?:adore:i`m headache to think about that coz this happen to me a week ago b4 that is ok..:bawling:

to all bro's.i encountered the same problem,1st gear need to step on the gas more,if not the whole car vibrating,n then it always happen when on the reverse gear..the whole car vibrating like hell..got confuse now..izit the gear lever bush kong or my clutch worn out..when speeding at 100km/h the rpm needle clocked at 3000rpm..not more n not less..my mech said the clutch not that good anymore..my office mate said might b the mounting kong..so,which is which now??:hmmmm::hmmmm:

Looks like this is quite a common problem.... :hmmmm:

Don't think its the engine mounting bro, otherwise it would vibrate all the time, not only engaging 1st gear or reverse.

Most likely its the clutch cover worn, apparently quite a common problem if the drivers have the habit of "riding the clutch" while driving. I know I used to do this, but has since tried to kick it off...

Try google it and you will be able to find lots of explanation on this.

i've got same problem also before. when the rpm reach 4,000 there got hell vibration. i refer to my mech and he try to check the timing belt marking for the 5 marks(2 on the cam pulley, 1 crankshaft, 1 balance shaft, and another 1... forgot already). after adjusted the marks on the belt, the vibration was gone. very smooth ride.. :driver:

Hi guys, just bring up the old topic.
Since I experience the same situation, is it a problem?

sub8evo,
Kindly share, did you solve the problem or what are the reason causing it?

Bro,

Did you experience on all gears, or like my case when shifting 1st and 2nd gears only?
This is likely an indication that your clutch is worn, and its time to change.

My car is in the process of changing to a new clutch now, will know the result next week.
Stay tuned...

It may (or may not) reoccur once new plate in i'm afraid due to the fact that e7-9 oem clutch is considered heavy duty hence juddery on initial, behaving almost similar to a racing plate but no noticeable slips AFAIK but who knows...

Actually mine slipped on 2nd gear before change, so that's an indication of clutch wear too...

Guys

I have the same problem too. Yes it only happen during traffic jams after many stop and p moves.

Feel like the engine going to stall, but just give more gas than its okay. According to my mechanic/ dealer, it is the clutch setting. He will set it back dont know what he means but will let him try to do that first when i go for my service.

I do t know about others, but according to my mechanic, my evo ix will vibrate a bit if thr car stops at an un even surface and slop. It will vibrates when we engagge 1st gear and move. This is due to the sensors detect uneven pressure at the tires. I try to google around about it but no success yet. Something to do with the SAYC system. But it only happen in traffic jam.

I have no clucth slip at any gears. I remember read about evo clucth. It is a heavy clutch likd lalu said. It will vibrates but i dont know if the vibration is as much as we faced.

Subevo please share your solution later ok.

So I finally got my clutch changed last week. So far so good, but have yet to experience start stop traffic and see whether old problem exist.

My mech showed me my stock clutch, clutch pad not really worn, but changed color - apparently it was "cooked" or went through extreme temperature, probably during the few track sessions I did.
He recommended to engage the clutch after a few rounds of tracking, to help the clutch cool down.

Will update more later.

i also had this problem when i using stock clutch (it vibrates some time, not all the time).

after i changed to new ogura twin plate, i still got the same problem. when it vibrates, i need to rev more to avoid it.

my bro's R33 GTS also got this vibration.

misery !!!!

That is what i have read, sports car clucth "grips" strongly, that is why we feel the jerks and vibration. But i dont knwo how normal it is when my car virates that much, rev up and its gone

sub8evo,
Kindly share what clutch are you using?
How the feeling during engagement?

H22-C
How the feeling during engagement?
Still experience judder or vibration?

Thinking to change my stock worn clutch either ACT HDSS or Ogura Twin Plate.
Looking forward a stock feeling during engagement... for daily ride.

I'm using Ogura single plate — almost similar to stock, except first gear

I like the feeling of this clutch, very firm engagement.
