Hi I'm a newbie here, I decided to post my first thread here with a strange car spotted last Sunday along Jalan Tebrau (heading towards Ulu Tiram just right after new Jaya Jusco).

When I first saw the car, I was like....What the he%& was this car is...?? Actually the sound of the car was attractted me in first place.

So sorry that not able to take a quick shot of it, and I don't even get the change to overtake it (due to heavy traffic and that guy driving quite fast too.)

Okay, back to the track....is a yellow Proton Satria with open top (convertible)!! If I'm not wrong. Because it's hardly recognized due to the heavily mods job, with unique engine sound (sound like V8 under the bonnet). :shcokedcamo:

Somebody even spotted this car before? Can tell me what car is that.
Thanks bros !

wadda?sometimes even kancil with exhaust bocor can sound like V8.
but the convertable factor?hrmm..

its an imported version of satria arr??... i saw before a convertible proton snapped in showroom before... yes, it might exist, whether modded or factory produced...
anyway, hope someone can shed a light and show us a photo of that car...

convertible easy maaaa... just chop off da roof can liow, then cut out those rough edges..pop in del-sol auto roof..can wat, why not? malaysia boleh maaa!! :p

once saw a somewhat wira coupe convertible in proton shah alam during their r&d exhibition last time in 2003 i think..but the person there said its only for display or special events.not for sale..myb dat one?

that car definately not a 206cc, I can see it's buntut still got a bit of satria shadow, but with damn wide body make over / wide rear bumper.... That car is very impressive by the time that guy accelerate...the engine sound was remarkable.

Sigh....never got the chance to overtake him to see the front look, must be interesting. 1 more thing, the paint was so shine, like just came out from the workshop / factory. What a mystery car spotted in JB.

Hope that someone could come out with the answer.

i dont think a V8 would ever fit in a satria..actually even a v6 would have problem fitting in..
