No regret today I feel proud to had Japanese models Nissan Sentra and Toyota Camry in my house and my niece goes for MYVI & Kelisa, my Uncles goes for Honda Stream & Accord, my brother in laws goes for Naza Sorento and ISUZU D-MAX.
Which is exactly what i told my friend few weeks back. He told me he wants to book Myvi but the waiting list is like some 6 to 8 months. But the salesman told him if he wants it quick, can give some under table money. I told my friend if i were him, i would tell the salesman to fly kite and cancel the booking altogether.
Frankly, i can assure you that under table money is for the own company extra income itself. What they do is every week they probably receive like 10 new cars. So those who stupidly paid up the under table money gets the cars in priority over those who did not although these guys paid first. Thats why you see waiting list of over 8 months to 1 year at worst.
Thats the problem! A classic Malaysian example of queue cutting, often seen in traffic lights and junctions too.
