good luck to u in looking for LE stuff... u can try ronda klang/meru/kapar area cos there got quite a number of chop shops...

hi, anyone know what type of carburettor the ae82 1.6gl uses? mine already has one foot in the grave and it is time to look for another heart. btw, my engine is stock 4A. appreciate your help guys. also, any idea how much a new one costs?

nolah. when it was launched in the early 80's the 1.3LE, the 1.6GL and later the 1.3XL all came with carburettor. even the AE90/2 came with carb but with 4AF engine ("F" meaning narrow angle twin cam) and 16 valves.

not sure where to buy weber and the price also no idea. prefer not to buy online from overseas as there will be no warranty and even if there is, it may be difficult to claim.

thought of calling wing hin toyota but didn't have time ;)

u can source from toyota marketplace.. i think i remember seeing a thread about webber carb... i think most toyota sellers here are quite reputable and wont tipu back us toyota kakis ler.... anyways, good luck in sourcing for your carb...

AE82 got injection but Japan specs comes with TVIS 16v.
