i'm interested to get a toyota LE... ermm but b4 that i hv thing to ask..

1> How is the fuel consumption .. How many km/l?

2> How far u ppl drive? Drive from johor to kedah b4??

3> Ur LE fail b4? if fail can easily be fixed? spare part easy to find?

4> Nice to drive? if compare to sunny 130y ?

5> What type of engine can be transplant into the body?

6> how many gear it hv? 4 or 5 gear?

just bought my LE.....aniway, according to ur Q,
1) can make 400km 4 a full tank.....haha tested
2) i dun knoe
3) fix can fixlah but parts abit hard to come by.....espc if it is dealing wit aircond parts...my LE havin prob wit airconds....
4) better than Sunny obviously....my parents Sunny used coconum husk seats FYi....
5) Sofar, i heard people transplant all types of engine, starlet terbo, to 4AGZE....mine is 4age auto which offer ok performance n economy but if it is manual, i think the performance should be better
6) LE is 5 gear manualah or 4 gear auto.....haha if u can find an good condi auto.....haha

guys, can ask a Q??? anyone here modded the engine but still using ori gearbox??? can fit??? i planning buy ori LE gb and fit in 4AGE 16v.....can or not??? need advise....haha:regular_smile:

erm...i got ae92 abs,spring n disc only ( no caliper n knuckle)
i think the disc for LE i already wrong...for wat which page...u can check...
hehehe is one of the member sent to me...i just post out...
me newbie not president...some more my car is a old junk with everything ori.

bro sy_omar, most people recommended use abs+disc+knuckle+caliper from AE92/AE101. right now i still survey the price. but quite expensive for me laaa.price around RM750~800 for four sets. if u go survey, mind sharing the price with us bro??

mcfurby, just asking LE otai at shah alam. he said AE92/AE90 abs cannot fit to LE knuckle laaaa... hadoiiii pening :hmmmm2:

V all face the rear suspension shit like that.
u punya problem,1 tahun dahulu saya pun sudah kena,pening sampai sekarang..pun juga. u kena tukar ae92 rear knuckle n pasang ae101 abs n le top mount baru boleh "kautim". saya pun dengar dari president Mc cakap saja.saya belum ada $$ tukar..
ataupun buang tu abs, welding paip saja dari knukle to body sure tak kena tayar atau fender..haaa....

U hv to change the knucker to AE92 then only u can use ae92/101/111 abs.

If i can find u the front and rear disk set complete wif srping knucker and caliper for Rm700 do u interested?

If you guys plan to change carpets, come down to Port Klang. There is a car interior specialist here. The price is quite reasonable. The shop quoted RM70 my interior roof carpet. I will do it after sending my car for spraying (RM1100) and keep you guys updated about the quality of the work.
