there is racing competition in japan that require carb and unchange bore and stroke if IM not wrong
carb is cheap but hard to tune like weber or rather malaysia all go for efi cause they are more expensive mean more profit and easier to tune

weber is around 800 and cheapest second hand stanalone ems is 4k
if you dont go high low altitude , efi is more efficient
if you are going for forced induction , efi is better
if you want fuel economy , carb is better
if you want raw performance , carb is better
if you want easy to maintaince , carb is better
