does anybody know what the fastest proton is to date for quarter mile use?

i know there is the visworks satria

thats new the evo 7 powered satria. i have not heard of it, but is there any specs or for that matter pics.

The safest proton would be Savvy, no doubt about that.

The fastest to date I know is the Viswork's Satria

u are just seeking for the safest proton bro, Savvy is definitely the safest up to date...harden chasis and also body rigidity, it may not be the safest among all cars, but it's still the safest proton

I think his intention of posting this topic is to find out which Proton car clocked the fastest time rather than which Proton car with a STOCK engine clocked the fastest time. FYI, there're lots of fast 4g93p's around

In drag racing, Viswork's satria is fast but not the FASTEST Proton, i remember the best quartermile time was mid 10's in SDB - unless they did a better timing in other race with proper timing system.

It is the white satria currently running in Thailand that is the fastest - the white one with Tomei, ST POwer, ZT power, Motec stickers - but they always register the car to race as a "Mitsubishi Colt/Mirage". But anybody who sees the tail light will know it is a Satria because Mirage doesn't have that kind of tail light.

it was in sepang long ago in the BFGoodrich drag challange (it was orange back then) but i think didn't compete due to transmission failure.

well, with low 9's this should be the fastest Proton.

what is a civic / DC5?????? civic with DC5 engine? or civic with DC5 facilift? or civic with DC5 sticker? -- sorry cos i haven't see the car.

btw, if it is civic with DC5 engine, then I see no reason they shouldn't call it a civic because civic & integra shares the same engine right?

sorry, kinda mixed up lately, the new civic is using a K20A3, which is different from the DC5's.

I thought I saw the engine code name K20A in the KLIMS, could be wrong anyway. Just made a clumsy mistake here. :P

so far i see the visworks satria is the fastest... at 9.9 seconds
