Evo General : Evo I - X

better go for M7 package. If im not mistaken, all Mutiara comes with 1 yrs warranty, some more with all the parts installed, its even BETTER than Mitsubishi Malaysia own warranty..which is 1 year!

Other countries in the world enjoy 3 year factory warranty with the car, but us in Malaysia..Mitsubishi Malaysia only offers 1 year warranty for a brand new RM330K++ car.

aycy,
you bought with M7 package or just normal...

Bought myevo ix mr last year.. Warranty only one month...m7 product not that good actually...so so only, i took it because its free....

hahaha..depend on ur interest bro..if u r the type got time to or for doing all the moded batter get the standard 1 coz the feeling is different n u know n u can feel each moded u already done to ur "baby"..if not..batter get the pakage 1..last but not least 4 sure the $$$..if reasonable y not.:flute:

The problem is the package is not compatible la or not practical,

Engine oil- not good,
Brake pad is 800C combine with stock brembo rotor is not good, got squeeling sounds and doesnt brake good on daily use, rotorveasily warped!! Its dangerous too...just changed endless pad 500C, very happy with it.
Boost meter- not that responsive, doesnt response well to throttle, compare that with the EBC
EBC - good

Conclusion if its free but it will jeopardise your safety, whats the point. Dont just simply accept the offer. Mutiara will exchange the stock/ original parts with M7 parts due to the bussiness strategy. Google / study every parts first before decide anything.

P/s these are based on my evo ix package offered when i bought it.

better than nothing bro..atleast not u the only one facing that experience..do u still remember the evo 9 MR with the sunroof?:flute:

Cant agree more on the brake pad. Really suck. Making alot of noise. Bro greenmivec, after u change to endless no more sound? M7 suspension does make funny sound also sometime. Lolx but ebc is good.

NO more sound bro..but i still have very small squell, that is normal for performance pad,but i can tell. No more the squelli g sond that can wake the whole KL people up hahaha

Yes m7 suspension got funny sounds like the cit cit cit when going on un even road...

Its good to get free stuff but if it doesnt serve any purPose n can cause danger why should we take it? The standard/stock parts are much better i can tell u...

M7 parts are mostly for track use where they have support crews and team

Yeah cit cut cit sound from suspension on uneven road. Vvvvvvvv sound on the stupid pad. Whole taman also can hear. Hahahahaa so this two item give us extra sound for our car. Not bad :)

tq for the info...

hi all, reading about you all experiencing the cit cit cit sounds in the thread, unfortunately here it goes to my turn now..

-for the adjustable(mine is CUSCO),do you all know where to go re-servicing it?
-am planning to own a TEIN Super Street softhard, but they quoted me about rm5k..
somewhere in Bdr Sunway... wallawei.....phew!!! a lot of money... i just cant take a breath.. hehe

FYI.

Thank you for your inquiry. Our coilovers do have a normal operating noise which sounds similar to a plastic straw going in and out of a plastic to go cup lid. Or it sounds like high pressure fluid. This is a normal noise related to the oil passing through the piston valve and piston rod. Try changing the damping force setting to see if the noise changes with a softer or stiffer setting. You can check to see if your dampers are leaking by looking for oil on the body of the damper. Or remove the dampers from the vehicle, remove the top mount, spring, etc... Then compress the damper by hand. If the damper rebounds to maximum extension, then the damper is working and not fully discharged. This does not indicate condition but it will at least tell you if the damper is "dead" or not. Changing the damping force should change the speed at which the piston shaft moves which is especially evident when the damper rebounds.

We do perform a free inspection if you would like to send your dampers in to one of our two service locations. After inspection we will contact you with overhaul price and estimate turn around time. For more details on sending your products in for service please click the following link,

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

bro, i think the sound u experience is caused by a faulty pillowball la... mayb can check it out....

regarding the M7 EBC... would like to check if any of bros here got such experience....
my E7 stock boost is 0.8bar before this... after installing the EBC... when i OFF it, my car is boosting at 1.2bar... i read that if we OFF the EBC, boost should fall back to ori which in my case should b 0.8bar right???

Hi bros, need some expert advise. An evo fren rear tyre burst when cornering at high speed. Car spun 2 rounds and luckily no cars around. For some reason the car sort of managed to align or balance itself to coast to a stop. After changing tyres now the steering and cornering feel of an evo is lost. Whole tail kinda floats when corner compared to what was before. Anyone encounter similar issue or know what is wrong and roughly how much to repair? Tyres alignment, pressure etc all checked d.

hopefully is not cause from faulty ayc.. i heard a guy broke his ayc gearbox bcuz he was using smaller rim (spare tire) in rear more than a week.. and ecu keep working on it and finally broke it. Cost a bomb later..
