cold air intake or short ram intake??

longer induction piping/ram air=more torque but you sacrife some horsepower

u just need medium induction piping with decent CAI,you get both torque and hp

i think there is something wrong with that line. HP = rpm x torque. and some variants, but its simplest formula. so how can u lose HP but gain torque? so CAI reduced the RPM?

short ram + airbox + CAI is good lo..
but make sure the airflow isnt restricted... if yes, no matter how cold ur air is also no use lo... not enough air to breathe...

Short ram cannot be cold air intake, if u combine that, it'll become cold air intake in the end.

If u want short ram and reduced hot air, u can vent ur front hood (eg think Subaru Impreza bonnet). I prefer higher cfm from short ram + it's easier to install.
