BOT (Bolt On Turbo)

Actually... if you are a noob as u claim... then don't BOT. Go transplant a turbo engine... BOTs requires more knowledge... requires you to thoroughly understand about turbos and its maintanence to be able to setup a reliable system. Otherwise you'll just ending up blowing up engines after engines. BOTs are more for advanced car modders.

If u transplant... and NOT mod anything on the engine yet... u can literally just whack ur engine any way u want to and NOT blow it.
BOTs a waaaaaaaaay more delicate than that.

May I suggest u put in a GSR since now EVOs are quite un-register-able. =Þ

And what most people don't know is... to BOT is NOT CHEAP... if u are to make a really reliable setup.
 
So How Is It....Im Observing this thread from time to time in my sub marine BOT......Every day got something interesting.......Bolt On Turbo Gangs........Peugeot 206t.........Waja 4G18t....Toyota Wish ' t' , Vtec 't' .....satria's 't', etc.......Malaysian can do........huh......even also have putra mivec BOT last time before Japs comes out with EVO 9 mivec turbo.......any how....me just enjoy ....driving the force....feel the force.....Alvin.....do you think its time to do some 'ACTION'???. Have one designated / dedicated trustworthy workshops...have one T shirt...have one logo....have one vision and mission......have ONE ROBOTS legal club......:)

juz in my dreams......me still bz with business....selling chicks!!!! ha ha ha juz kidding........without good biz.....not enough money.....not enough money......where to maintain a MONSTER???????? ha ha ha

Well... unfortunately not too many of us here are THAT enthusiastic about it lerz...

For me... i really don't mind wan. =Þ Last TT also me + savvyhitam made it oni... luckily i got a couple other friends there... else later people think we gay couple mahemsss !! aahhahaa

Max Power : 139.6 hp @ 5679 RPM

Max Torque : 205.0 @ 3399 RPM

sorry to interrupt.i hv questions on wastegate. what brand of wastegate do u guys use for low boost ie 0.5-0.6 bar? i just ask a tial dealer about the wastegate and he said that the 38mm tial WG minimum boost is 0.8 bar. so, if u guys use tial 38mm do you hv to change the spring?? cheers.
 
If not mistaken... tial wastegate come with 3 spring rate. Its 7psi/0.5bar, 11psi/0.8bar and 14psi/1bar.

So in your case.. choose the lowest 1.... 7psi/0.5bar.. jus be safe

I saw KSP selling this tial spring...
 
Waja4646 what is ur car hp la dude....? earlier post u said can follow or maybe cut a GTI or putra ..those putra and gti is NA or turbo u mean? thanx bro
 
thx lilvee..will go there nex week. nway do they hv the tial 38mm complete with the 0.5 bar spring? do i hv to buy it separately? how much do they cost? actually i just done my bolt on on mivec. seems frustrating at times. when boost reach 0.5 bar the engine seems to slowed down. wat could be the problem? i'm using walbro fuel pump and 450cc injector. are they not enuf to feed the fuel? really would like to join u guys for TT. any BOT TT soon? newbie here. hehe

180cc injectors, fully rebuilt TD04, adj fuel regulator, emanage, small intercooler side mount, speedworks JB professional tuning on DYNO DYNAMICS.

Beter call them about the exac price... but they sell it complete with spring of your choice. This is external gate type.. did your exhaust manifold have the flange? If not u need to custome made it... check with your mech

Eventhough you have a big fueling pump and injector... you still need something to compensate it when running higher boost. What management that u have? maybe need some tuning for this device...

Yeah.. make it happen this time guys.. BOT TT! Count me in... maybe i can invite a few Honda BOT from my side...

same here, but i was using 2++ injctor, tD04L, adj fuel regulator, front mount intercooler,emanage, but lesser ! argh @#?!# =P
