i was watching tv last nite and it had a report on accidents. they showed this accident of the BMW, i didn't listen too clearly as to what was said. but on the top left hand corner was written FATAL ACCIDENT.

the newpaper report from a previous post said rescued. confused now, is he dead or alive.

BMW accident and cought fire happend many times already. I heard that when the the car crash, the door of the BMW will auto lock making it hard for people to rescue the driver.

I thoght that all those luxurious car supposingly more safety feature then normal car.

But mostly happend to BMW, dont know why, other accident i saw also wont end up in flame even how bad is the accident.

Maybe BMW should make some research about it.

haha guessed some1 will say so when i post this comment. first of all i must say that speed doesnt cause accident. accidents are caused by ppl who drove over their limit (which from what i can see is what happened to the driver of this beemer), ppl who don concentrate when they are driving and also by reckless driving (ppl who zig zag all the time or brake in a sudden for no reason). secondly speed is a very subjective thing. for a person that are afraid of speed or lets say don really know how to drive whatever speed are fast and hence will assume others that are better in driving or have more experiance in driving are driving at a speed that are killing themselves. believe me for those fast drivers that are skillful (which i m not sure when u mean IDIOTS u meant this kind of driver) they are a million times better than drivers that dunno how to drive and driving at a slower speed. i m not saying those drivers will nvr have accidents but i m sure the chances of them having is very very rare. so don jus take speed as the main reason that causes accident.. alot of time accidents cause by ppl who drove fast when they are either not focus enuff or they are influence by alcohol or anything that blur ur mind (these drivers my fren is what u called IDIOTS).

P/S: frankly u are not the first person to say i drive fast as i know it too. but for it to be classified as dangerous driving is another matter. personnally i have problems driving too slow or at 110 as at this speed i cant focus as much as i do when i m driving at a much faster speed. and sometimes the car i drove is rather impossible to drive under the speed limit unless u don throttled the car. i tried it a couple of times but i found it too dangerous as firstly it will get u impatient and also loose ur concentration and secondly when u don throttle u car u basically have no or little traction with ur car, hence is not an ideal way to deal with any emergencies situation for instance when ppl swing in to ur way n u hav to avoid.
for a person that dun know me or haven been into my car its normal to say i m dangerous drivers but for those who have been into my car they know if i m safe or dangerous. i don only mean teanagers i mean older ppl. they seems to be fine with the way i drive. i drive much smoother when i drive fast and ppl don feel dangerous.

oh yea in case u asked I did have accidents before. it happened when i jus got my licence n non of them hav to do with speed as they happen in city area. even though i m not guilty in terms of law i admit i make some mistakes by exercising wrong judgement at those drivers that bump into me. since then i nvr take anything for granted when i drive and hence i think i m a much safer driver than u can imagine.

If you do 200km/h plus on a public road, you are bloody irresponsible, idiotic, and very stupid. It doesnt matter if you're schumie or a bloody novice, if you drive a ferrari or a kancil. That is not the point. I hope one day you wake up from your ignorance, and learn to know that regardless of your "skill", you are not the only person on the road. Oh and btw, pls show us one car in malaysia that is "rather impossible to drive under the speed limit unless you throttle the car". I've sat in 500hp skyline gtrs and 700hp supras and they can very comfortably go along at the speed limits. How ignorant anyone can be to even say such a thing is beyond me. And if you cant "focus" at any speed below 110, i believe you should stop driving and/or go for a mental health check. I hope this is does not seem personal to you. It isnt. On that corner i've see a skyline take at more than 200kmh (i was goin 160 and the fella past me like ghost like that) and nothing happened. To me its ok to speed if the roads are clear and well late at night.

I tend to agree that speed, by itself, does not kill. If speed purely by itself kills, then all rally drivers and all F1 drivers would already be dead. But speed coupled by several unforseeable factors on public roads such as one that you have pointed out yourself, has the potential to cause harm. I assure you, speed limits on public roads are out there for a purpose. Not everyone has the same skill. Not everyone is alert, not everyone is a well learned driver. Thats why by cutting down on speed, there is some compensation for error. I hope young people nowadays understand that. You are not the only driver on the road. And once again, driving 200km/h plus on a public road is nothing else but idiocy. Cheers.

haha frankly i get what u mean... thanx for ur concern.. well i jus wanna say when i do drive at the speed i drove.. it would be a fairly comfortable speed for me.. and jus for info.. usually those are the speed i drove when its at night.. daytime or whenever i do see cars around i tends to slow down.. even though the speed i slow down isnt really within the boundary of the speed limit.

P/s: there are many kind of cars my fren. n i m lucky to have driven almost evry kind of car there are including the cars u mentioned. i jus wanna say that yes i admit there are cars that can do those speed. but for a car that are suppose to drive fast like some GT cars or german saloon if u drive at a slow speed it will make u sleepy.. unless u are really afraid of speed then u might not be sleepy.. but i think alot of ppl who owns those sort of car will know what i mean. i tried a couple of times and always i find it better to drive faster.. then again i jus wanna emphasis again accidents doesnt happen solely becoz of speed, i may speed most of the time (when its approriate) but of all the traffic law thats the only 1 i dint obey..

i totally agreed with ur quote.. or rather ur mum's words of wisdow.. i nvr challenge the limit of public road or the limit of the car on public road.. most of the time i drove within my limit.. closest i push my own ability is to 85% of what i can do with a car.. thats when i drive over 200.. to many its unimaginable but frankly its normal, i do admit its quite fast and sound idiocy to many.. well i accept those opinions thats its dangerous.. it would act as a caution for me :)
