Basic Performance upgrade

if ur aiming for power at 3000rpm above, u should have rally spec camshaft.. torque will increase alot, slowbox will kaput earlier mah.. heheh
 
I am aiming for 2.4L kit. There's always a saying, there's no replacement for displacement. :)

That's what I heard. Our ATR with TD05 and tuning need not reach 550cc. 490-500 is more than enough.
 
yeah.. i saw in the evolutionm forum that they rated the evo 560cc can even support up to 400hp..

I just pick up my trek today with a TD05hr and FMIC. feels a lot of turbo lag and a very soft boost kick. it is only feel "alive" at 4000rpm above. will get injector and tuning ASAP.

but what i do like right now is that there's no loss of power above 5000 rpm. it is still kicking till 7000 rpm.
 
Bro, Even if before ECU tuning, my car was pretty good in terms of performance when turbo kicks in. Yes, there's turbo lag but when boost spools, it was a big difference compared to TD04. It pulls so strong and g-force was great. It was boosting 1.0 bar.

I think something is not right, please send it back to check.
 
yup ur rite.. will get it to check. i think maybe the manifold not tighten enuf or the intercooler pipes has minor leaking..

that was after or before change to 560cc injector?
 
It was BEFORE injector upgrade. But when I installed TD05 + FMIC, I also added adjustable fuel regulator and increase the fuel pressure. What is your boost level now? Before TD05 and after TD05, what's the boost level?
 
before TD05 it was 1.1 bar. after TD05 it is around 1 bar. but it takes rpm at around 4000 to 4500 to get 1 bar of boost. i did feels like something wrong.
