Hi, It has been a while since I have been on this site, Am writing from Kisumu, Kenya and am now in the final stages of upgrading my ATR. I had to remove the entire wiring loom and remove the connectors for the OEM ECU. Car is now going to be a manual, the Torque Converter had been damaged the last time I tried to drive the car, hence converting to manual.

2.3l Stroker.
274 Cams.
780cc Injectors.
ARP main and head studs.
Nitrided Valves with Eibach Beehive Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers.
TD06 Hybrid Turbo.
Link Xtreme Ecu
Grimmspeed Boost Controller.
Stage 2 Competition Clutch Kit.
Exedy Lightweight Racing Flywheel.
Walbro Fuel Pump
HKS Fuel Rail.
Water/Mathanol Injection.
Zeitronix WBO2
Works Fuel Pressure Regulator.
7 Bar MAP Sensor (I am no longer using the MAF sensor)
Inlet Air Temp Sensor.
FMIC with custom piping.
Cosworth Head Gasket
HKS Fine Tune Timing Belt
Arospeed Adjustable Cam Gears.
Kiggly Racing Oil Pressure Regulator.
3" Stainless Steel Exhaust with 4.5" Tail Pipe.
Vent to Atmosphere Downpipe.
Mishimoto Rad with Mishimoto Slimline Fans.
HKS Racing Spark Plugs.

Removed extra cables from the loom and now adding the Link ECU loom for all sensors. Initially had been running both ECU's OEM for the gearbox and Link for the engine. Now will be running Link alone.

Engine has been assembled and will be planning to install in car this weekend.

Will post pics when completed.

Re: Airtrek Project Update

Am looking at about 300+ with the current setup. I already have a RevHard Performance Exhaust Manifold for a turbo Upgrade, but that project will wait abit. Am still on the stock intake manifold and throttle body, hence a conservative figure of 300. Mapping the ECU is going to take a while but have since eliminated quite a number of the OEM control systems. i.e. Fuel Pressure, Wastegate solenoid, purge and boost, EGR and more importantly the MAF. Will retain the AC though (gets really hot down here and the car is black in colour). This project has taken me over 2 years as had to complete two more projects in the same period. (we are turbo buffs) and have Starlet GT Turbo, Impreza GC8 and Impreza 2005 Sti. Its the ATR that I have gone all out.

300+whp seems easily achievable. Good luck and do share pictures.

Hi Guys,

Pics of engine before install. Wiring almost completed. Should be starting in a few days.

Will keep updated and post more pics and vids.

based on all other parts u already had, u should have run with custom intake manifold and bigger TB to get better effect at high revs. 300hp is achievable with just td05hr and high lift cams alone..
if properly tune with all these hardware, u should be running at least 400hp.. but if u r targeting 500hp, u got to have forged internals.
