I need help from Satri GTi owner here to confirm 2 things as my GTi (model year 1999 with MMC ECU and MAF) has been modified by previous owner to Mivec head and 275cc injector with adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I know the original injector is 240cc and wonder if there is anything else he change.

Questions:
1. can anyone help to identify what should be the correct MAF code for this car? (the 3 digit code on sensor)
2. what is the original ECU for this car? (the 4 digit code on ECU)

Thanks.

if he already using mivec head, definately he will be using mivec ecu...

there is no MAF sensor on mivec...only map sensor...

please check back of verify your car setup/hardware with your mechanic

MIVEC don't use MAF sensor. If you still wanna find the MAF unit, the number is 449. :driver:

The car is not running Mivec ECU.

The car is running Swoosh Vart to read RPM and send signal to Mivec to engage Mivec at set RPM.

The car is still running on ECU with MAF. That is why I want to know what is the original 1999 Satria GTi ECU code and MAF code.

Thanks.

not sure 455 or 499 code....

Any 1999 Satria GTi owner can help take a look at your and let me know please? Or if you happen to have friend driving one. :P

My engine came from C99 Wira LE, which doesn't have O2 sensor. ECU number 5537, 449 for MAF.

You can refer to quote below :

"1st batch putra - ecu 5537
2nd batch putra - ecu 2468
3rd batch putra - ecu siemens

Same goes to gti

But wira 1.8 Doch all came with 5537. Except for those export model which using siemens to comply with those country emission.

For local 4g93 with 5537 ecu, its powerfull than japan 4g93 which mostly came with 6123 ecu."

Any power difference between the Putra batches and can the ECU be interchangeable?:smokin:

My Satria GTi comes with O2 sensor. My mechanic says it should not have, but mine definitely has O2. Wonder if this is added by the previous owner for some reason. Anyone has any idea about this?

If MMC to MMC not a problem. VDO ECU cannot use on MMC. Power wise, y2188 already mentioned in the quote that the 5537 ECU is yeng. :driver:
