Just drive old cars whenever go to this kind of place, there must be a lot of thieves waiting for you guys to bring your cool and lovely ride and they just wait, marked and take it when got a chance...last SDB, i went to SIC with my friends original stock Myvi without any modification + only lock steering, kawtim, no problem, no need to worried where we parked...:proud::driver:

wow, many case of car being stolen in sic carpark already. sorry for your friend's lost...

from a legal standpoint though it is absolutely possible to sue the car park operators for damages suffered as a result of the theft of your beloved ride
the clause stated in most car park in malaysia saying park at your own risk is not always held enforceable in the courts however this is subject to some exemptions such as if you park your car regularly at the same parking lot then it would be understood by the courts that you have fully understood and accepted all the clauses printed on the car park ticket and also if the exemption clause is stated clearly in the car park maybe on a signboard or printed in bold on the ticket
and as i know there may be several more exemptions to the clause that is normally stated by the parking operators but im too lazy to take out my Malaysian law book hehe
but in general if your car gets stolen in any parking lot around the world regardless if they say they already printed on the ticket or put up signboard saying park at your own risk dont just give up hope of recovering any damages/compensation for the hardship you have suffered firstly go and get the advice of a competent lawyer(by disclosing ALL the details of your situation) and then based on his advice see whether you have enough ground to take legal action against the car park operator or not do not simply just give up then and there and allow these car park operators to just take out hard earned money without protecting our cars while they are in their care
just my 2 cents

well it does say "park at your own risk" , but can argue on the point "does the existing security sufficient enough to prevent it , not 1 but 5 cars ?"

did the management improve ? this is not the 1st time anyway , pull out all the reports that are stolen in Sepang Paid Parking and make a hoo-haa bout it in the Media , sure can do something one ...

yeap yeap sure something can be done
but better to threaten them to take the case to the court rather than just print in media as the settlement may be more coz the sessions court can award damages of up to 1 million dollars so they will try to prevent the possibility of this happening if they feel they will loose in court
