B16A from EG in EK

I just learned from a mechanic recently that B16A from EG has different engine mounts and does not fit in EK... need to modify some of the mounting to swap into EK... anybody has done before? will we have any problems with Puspakom/JPJ if i we do that? EK halfcuts cost a lot more than EG halfcut, and diffcult to find manual one... hmmmm :unsure:

Well.. if your workshop can provides your a good workmanship.. Nothing to worry about the half cut is from EG or EK.. FYI my origin engine is D16Y.. and I am running in B-series.. So nothing gonna stop me.. All thanks to Amoil Motorsport located in Sunway.

If you are in doubt.. I am running 13sec on 1/4 miles. Fast? Not very fast only la...

i will say if ek get an ek halfcut coz everything can be use so money don;t go to waste .. but if eg get a eg halfcut :)

True also la.. unless you are asking for more.. Like me.. what every half cuts it is.. it doesn't really matters...

Almost everything is original.. But not from Honda.

I also intrested to convert to EK4 engine,should be no headache after that.But,
EK4 halfcut i heard still expensive :( .just try to make saving for EG9 halfcut..

Well after swaping the engine sure need to touch up here and there one.. Just depend on alot or little to be done only..
all depends on how healthy the engine is..

i think the EG and EK mountings are the same. the different one i think is the EF B16 mountings and transmissions.
